me that I was naked, too. I shrugged. I was too warm and comfortable to get up just to put skimpy clothes on. Snuggling into him, I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

Travis's arm was still around me when I woke up. I stretched, until I noticed what was pushed against my butt. Travis groaned in his sleep, and pulled me closer, his hips moving against mine. I laughed, which woke him up.

“What’s so funny?” He asked sleepily, while squinting at me.

I rolled over to face him. “Nothing.” I trailed a finger down his jaw, while he stared at me with those brilliant blue eyes. Leaning forward, I meant to kiss him lightly, but he pulled me in when my lips touched his. His hand on the back of my head guided me to the best position for him to explore my mouth.

I was breathing hard when he released me. He was opening his mouth to say something when there was a knock on the door.

“Time to get up, sleepy heads! The hairdresser will be here in less than an hour, and you really should eat something first.”

“Okay. We will be out soon.” I called out. Travis mumbled something.

Kait chuckled as he moved away. I got the distinct impression he didn’t believe me. What was Travis thinking? I examined my feelings to see if I could separate his from mine. It was a total jumble, but I could tell that the morning wood was not all because it was morning. I briefly wondered what Travis had mumbled, but he bit his lip and distracted me.

“What?” I couldn’t tell if he was trying not to laugh, or if he was in pain.

“I love you, Evalia.” The words were tender, but for some reason, fear shot through me.

“I love you, too, Travis. What are you planning? Why are you saying it like that?”

“I just wanted to make sure you knew before tonight. If something goes wrong, remember that I love you, and I always will.”

“You’re scaring me. Why are you worried something will go wrong? Is there a part of the plan y’all aren’t telling me?”

He pulled me in and kissed me again. “No. But no plan is fool proof. I’m not worried about the plan, or what is going to happen tonight. It’s more of a prepared for all possibilities thing. Now, we need to go eat breakfast, so you can have the energy to sit in a chair all day to get poked and prodded.”

I grimaced. I wasn’t looking forward to having my hair and makeup done. Having random people I didn’t know touch me always made me nervous. And I really didn’t like the idea of someone else doing my makeup. I’ve seen the videos of it being done, and it didn’t look fun.

“Come on, Babe. Let’s go eat.” Travis sat up and offered me a hand. I started to get out of bed, then realized I was still naked. I don’t know why I didn’t think of it before. It’s not like gnomes would have come in and dressed me in the middle of the night.

Sitting up, I pulled the covers up to my chin and shook my head. Now, I was embarrassed. When it wasn’t in the heat of the moment, all my insecurities reared their tiny little heads in my brain.

He just smiled and pulled the covers away from me. Then, he knelt in front of me, and kissed my skin, starting at my stomach and moving up. I was gasping when he made it to my mouth.

“I love your body. You should never be ashamed of it.”

I crossed my arms over my chest, hiding myself. Logically, I understood what he said, but emotionally, I couldn’t do it. I couldn’t expose myself that brazenly to him. He kissed my neck until my arms relaxed and wrapped around him, then he moved back down. Under his ministrations, I forgot to be embarrassed and just enjoyed how he made me feel.

Then, the bastard pulled away, and tugged me to my feet.

“Come on, we need to go have breakfast.”

“Oh.” The single syllable sounded lost and forlorn. He turned back to me, a smile tugging at his lips.

He leaned in close, his lips brushing the shell of my ear. “Or, did you want to stay in here? Was there something else you’d rather be doing?”

I shivered. My head tried to nod and shake at the same time, ending up going around in a circle. Eyes wide, I stared at him, unable to respond verbally. He laughed, then let go of me. He strode over to my closet, and picked out a simple outfit, then threw it at me.

“Here. Get dressed. Then we can go eat.”

Unashamed of his own nakedness, he left the room without a robe. I heard David yell in the hall, “Oh my god, Travis! Put some clothes on, dude! I don’t wanna see that this early in the morning!”

I giggled softly to myself as I slowly got dressed. The soft sweatpants and oversized shirt did nothing for me, but it was only something to wear while my hair and makeup was done. I haven’t even seen the dress yet. I wondered what it looked like, as I put my hair up in a messy bun. After a quick stop in the bathroom for my contacts, I headed to the kitchen, where it appeared Kait had made a giant breakfast, and set it up buffet style. There were pancakes, French toast, biscuits, gravy, bacon, sausage, eggs, scrambled and over-easy, orange juice, milk and coffee. For only the four of us.

“Kait, don’t you think you went a little overboard? There is no way we can eat all of this.”

“Don’t worry about it, Princess.” He had a knowing smile that made me give him the side-eye as I got my plate. I went through the line, filling my plate with delicious carbs, a little meat, and some eggs. David sat down next to me, and my jaw dropped
