Emily sipped her martini slowly, sighing as she looked around the crowded beach bar. Waves rippled softly on the shore just behind her, but she did not look at them. Laughs of happy couples scattered across the beach, making Emily frown softly. She was alone at the bar, an experience she knew only too well from home.

“Another vodka martini for you, miss?” the bartender asked. Emily glanced up, and pondered for a minute.

“Please. Thank you.” she said, nodding her head.

“A vodka martini? I pegged you as a rum and coke kinda woman.” said a tall, dark haired man as he sat down beside her, grinning and looking her up and down. His blue eyes gleamed with mischief, and Emily blinked, surprised someone was speaking to her.

“Vodka gets me through the day, but apparently it’s inappropriate to drink straight from the bottle at a public bar.” Emily said with a sigh, smiling softly. The bartender brought her the drink, and she stirred it absentmindedly before raising it to her lips and taking a sip.

“I wouldn’t think twice about it, especially after a tough day. Where are you from?” the man asked, leaning against the bar.

“New York. Why, you looking for someone to pay for your ticket home?” Emily asked warily. The man laughed, shaking his head.

“No. I’m from here,” he said, watching her curiously. “I’m Mark. I run this place.” he said, offering his hand.

“Emily. I won’t scare you off by telling you what I do.” she said with a smile. Mark grinned, and sat back, studying her.

“By your clothes and the way you keep checking your email every five minutes...I’d guess you’re some big wig lawyer who doesn’t know how to relax.” he said. Emily raised an eyebrow, surprised.

“You’re right. I’m a lawyer. Get a lot of them out here?” she admitted with a soft chuckle, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

“No. Mostly honeymooners,” Mark said. He paused. “So what brings you out here all by yourself?” he asked, leaning forward, his head on his fist.

“I wasn’t by myself until my friend hooked up with some guy in the next hotel room over and left me here to fend for myself,” Emily grumbled. “What about you? You’re here alone.” she said, smiling at him.

“I saw you sitting here and figured I’d give talking to you a shot.” Mark admitted. Emily sighed, and sipped her martini.

“I don’t do relationships, especially long distance. Sorry.” she said casually, looking at her drink and giving it a stir.

“It’s a good thing that I’m not looking for a relationship then.” Mark said with a teasing smile. Emily looked at him and smirked, thinking for a moment before turning to the bartender and speaking up.

“A drink for him, please. Whatever he wants. It’s on me.” she said, leaning on the bar and looking at Mark.

“Oh, you’re buying me a drink? What are you aiming to accomplish here?” Mark asked with a chuckle.

“Sex. You seem to want it.” Emily said slyly, smiling at him.

“You’re right, but I don’t need a free drink to want to spend the night with you.” Mark said. Emily bit her lip, and thought for a moment before nodding.

“Cancel that drink, please, and bill my martinis to room 256.” Emily said. She stood up and polished off her drink with one swig, looking at Mark with a smile.

“Mine or yours?” she asked, grabbing her bag and sliding it over her shoulder as she headed for the exit.

“Whatever’s closer.” Mark said with a grin as they slipped out of the crowded bar.

As soon as the door to Emily’s hotel room was shut, she kicked off her shoes and grabbed Mark by the collar, kissing him passionately. Mark chuckled into the kiss and slid his hands up her hips, pressing his forehead against hers.

“Not wasting a second, are you?” he asked teasingly as he squeezed her butt with both hands.

“Shut up and kiss me.” Emily groaned softly. Her lips found Mark’s again, and her eyes closed as she slid her hands up his chest and wrapped her arms around his neck. Mark took a step forward and pushed her against the wall, one of his hands sliding up her shirt as the other grasped her hip, grunting softly as his manhood began to grow hard in his pants.

Without warning, Emily pushed her tongue against Mark’s lips, begging for entry. He used his own tongue to wrestle hers back for dominance, exploring her mouth and grunting softly as they battled for control of each other.

One of Mark’s hands found her breasts, and he gave them a tender squeeze, wrapping his free arm around her waist to pull her closer to him. Emily pulled free from the kiss, gasping for air, and Mark kissed down her chin to her neck, growling softly as he bit down on the exposed skin, kissing and licking at each mark he made.

“Oh god.” Emily moaned, gasping as she writhed under his touch. Her fingers found his abs, and she slid her hands under his shirt, tracing each muscle with soft fingers, pushing up to feel his hard chest.

Mark let go of her only long enough to tug his shirt off, tossing it to the side and grabbing her waist, hoisting her into the air and tossing her onto the large, hotel bed in the center of the room. Before Emily could move, he was on top of her in nothing but his jeans and boxers, kissing down her neck and grabbing at her breasts.

Emily moaned as she tugged at her shorts, fumbling with the button before she yanked the zipper down and kicked them off completely. She wrapped her now bare legs around Mark’s waist, her wet entrance having soaked through her panties. Wetness dripped down her inner thighs and onto the sheets.

Mark grunted and thrust his
