“Show me your tits,” Landon growls.
Reaching behind my back, I unclasp my bra and let it fall to the floor, twirling to give him a complete view. “Better?”
“Mmmmm. Yes, some...” He begins to stroke himself, and it turns me on to see him lost in his satisfaction.
I step out of my panties, turning my back to him and giving him another view of my backside. I turn and look over my shoulder. “Like what you see?”
“Mmmm... Yes. Very much.”
I lick my lips as I dance. He stands and throws me on the bed, burying his head between my breasts.
I roll him on his back and increase the stimulation of the cock ring. My caresses are gentle, a fleeting counterpoint to the steady, deep growl of the vibrator.
His eyes plead with me to start, but I raise my eyebrows, waiting for an invitation.
“Are you going to make me beg?” he asks.
“I don’t want to hurt you.”
“If you don’t get that tight cunt on my tool, I’m going to explode and waste all this great cum.”
I smile. “Gee, you have such a way with words.”
I straddle him, and he places his cock at my entrance. Slowly I lower myself. The pulsing from the ring can be felt through his dick, and it’s like my own vibrator. He seems bigger than usual, and it takes a few minutes for me to adjust to his size. The vibration radiates, and it hits me just right.
His thumb reaches my aching nub and strums it. “Holy shit,” I breathe. He doesn’t stop. “Right there...”
He grabs my hips and pushes me down, over and over, on his hard rod.
He grunts and keeps going. After a tweak to my nipples, my second orgasm has me shaking.
I roll off of him, gasping for air. “Wow…”
Lying in bed, we’re both breathing hard.
“That was fun,” Landon says.
“Might be worth using again,” I manage.
Chapter 40
Landon
I fell asleep for a short time, but my phone rings now, bringing me out of my haze. I glance at the time as I answer. It’s shortly after four. I don’t feel rested in the least.
“Landon, it’s Jim. I’m on my way over with Bash and Levi. Marci is meeting us at your place.”
“Okay, I’ll let them know they can send you up. Is it only the four of you?”
“I think so.”
I disconnect the call and let the night receptionist know I’m expecting Jim, his team, and Marci shortly.
“I hope they’re coming with good news and not to tell me the FBI will be here in a few hours,” I tell Tinsley, rubbing her arm.
She jumps out of bed and rushes into the shower.
I watch her leave. “You’re showering for them?”
“I can’t walk out smelling like sex.”
Women. Like anyone would notice.
She steps out five minutes later. “Your turn.”
“I don’t need—” I look at her and know it’s not worth the argument, so I strip off the clothes I’d put on, and climb into the shower. I don’t want to upset her more than she already is.
When I get out, I hear her talking to Marci about drinks as I head for the living room. I pull my T-shirt over my head and pad out as Jim and his team arrive.
We gather around Jim as he places multiple pictures on the kitchen counter. I don’t recognize their subject, though it’s all the same woman. She has mousy brown hair and a big floppy hat in one. A baseball cap in another. Sunglasses in another. And a platinum bob in the other. In photos taken from a distance, we see her walking a dog.
It finally occurs to me. It’s Heather McCoy. A flood of relief rushes through me.
“Is that who I think it is?” I ask.
Jim nods.
“We did some dumpster diving and have proved by DNA that it’s her,” Bash reports.
My legs almost buckle beneath me. I look up at the ceiling and pump my fists in the air. “Oh, thank God.”
“These were obviously taken over several days. Why are we just learning this now?” Tinsley presses.
“We weren’t sure,” Jim says. “We put her through facial recognition once we got the right shot, and then we ran the DNA verification. At any time, it could have turned out to be a false positive.”
“We didn’t want to get Landon’s hopes up, just in case,” Levi explains.
“I wish you would have told him you had more than the credit card usage,” Tinsley mutters.
Marci nods. “This is fantastic news. I’ll take this over to Walker Clifton immediately.”
Jim gives Marci the address where Heather has been staying. “She’s been here in the city probably the whole time, hiding at her boyfriend’s.”
“Why didn’t we check his home?” I ask.
“The police and FBI did,” Jim answers.
Marci stops. “We have a leak somewhere. They have to have been tipped off in advance if there was no evidence there.”
Jim nods. “And that leak is the person pushing for the investigation. Did you learn who’s behind the push?”
“US Attorney Clifton didn’t have much for me last night. He just told me to hold tight.” As Marci begins to gather the pictures, she looks at them carefully. “Jim, what do you suggest?”
“Levi, Bash, and you go to Walker directly. We need to have them plan another raid on the boyfriend’s house.”
I like that Jim doesn’t hesitate. I couldn’t be happier that he’s on my team.
Marci looks at her watch. “It’s only four thirty. He’ll be up in a half-hour.”
“You know the man well,” Tinsley remarks.
“It’s my job. It’s well known that he’s a man of habits, and working out each morning is one of them.
