Now I’m standing at Arrivals, holding a big bouquet of flowers in my hands. I keep going up on my toes in the hopes that I’ll be able to see him.
Then, finally, I catch sight of him. He is so tall and broad that my gaze is immediately drawn to him. My handsome lover. My whole world....
He sees me too. I squeal with joy and run towards him. He looks so good in his uniform and now, he’s all mine.
I can sense people turning to look at us. I don't care if we’re causing a scene. I just want to be in his arms and in a flash…I am.
I don’t even give him the flowers. They fall out of my hands as he lifts me up and spins me around. We’re kissing. He has his strong muscular arms around me, holding me up by the backs of my knees. I can’t stop laughing. I can’t stop kissing him.
“I have missed you so much,” I say with tears streaming down my cheeks. I don’t know why I ever thought I could live without him.
“I love you, Lena,” he says.
When my feet finally touch the ground again, I’m giddy, but I have him to hold on to. He picks up the bouquet, throws his bags over his shoulders and with his other arm around me, we start walking out.
I can’t stop looking at him. He’s staring at me too.
“You have no idea how beautiful you are. Everyone keeps looking at me because I’m the luckiest bastard here,” he says with a laugh.
I’m blushing and also crying a little.
“You’re home now, I can’t believe it.”
“And now we’re going to go to the apartment and we’re not stepping out for a week. It’s just going to be the two of us, baby. Do you think you can handle it?”
I can’t help, but laugh at that.
“Oh! You have no idea!” I exclaim and pretty soon, we’re running out of the airport together so we can get to the apartment as fast as we can.
We’re not going to waste a single second together.
