answer, turning to finish putting together the note sheets...

Aron grabs my arm tightly and pulls it up causing me to turn around and let out a scream.

- What's that? What's that? Are you out of your mind?

- With who? With that idiot Taylor? - Aron asks, squeezing my arm harder.

Snitching by pulling his arm and pushing Aron away.

- It's none of your business who I date or stop dating! - I say by rubbing my sore arm. - I thought that was pretty clear.

Taking the books to leave the room, I ignore him trying to pass, but Aron stops my passage, stopping in front of me with his arms crossed.

- It's up to him, isn't it? - sarcastic question. - So the rumors of you and him in the closet were real, right?

- No! Like you said, they're just rumors. - I mean seriously. - Ryder even denied all that gossip. If you weren't in the cafeteria, it's all your bad luck. Now, get out of my way!

Ignoring my appeal he takes a step to the side preventing me again, to pass.

- I'm not finished yet! - Aron says in a threatening tone.

- Get out of my way, Aron! - I say without patience, trying to push him, but without success.

I take a deep breath taking a step back.

- You know what? I realized you've become obsolete. Obsolete as a friend, as a boyfriend and even as a man! - I say between my teeth and took a step to the opposite side of what he was braking, passing through Aron, who was breathing with hatred.

As soon as I take two steps, I feel Aron's hand grabbing my hair, pulling me back. I drop my books on the floor and grab his wrists, trying to loosen the hair, whose leather was already throbbing. I couldn't scream because Aron's other hand covered my mouth.

- Listen, bitch! - ...vociferates him with angry eyes. - Nobody snubs or humiliates me. You, better than anyone else, should know this and have done it three times in a short period of time.

He whispers his last sentences coldly, leaving me in a panic. Aron pulls my hair turning so I can face him. His eyes were dark and tears of fear appeared in my eyes.

- That slap still hurts, you know? - Aron growls with a huge hatred.

I try to let go of your hands, struggling, because it was already starting to hurt. Aron squeezed my scalp so hard and so much hate.

- Get your hands off her! - Ryder screams into the room all of a sudden. - Let go, or I'll call the dean and you leave this room in a police car.

Aron loosens my hair by pushing me to the ground.

- You're not worth it! - says he's running his hand through the hair and fixing the team's uniform jacket. - It's frigid, if you ask me.

- I doubt it very much, but if you were with Brooke just for sex, then now you're with the right person. - Ryder says approaching with determined steps. - By the way, your parties are great, even though you're never invited to any of them. I hope tonight's will exceed expectations.

I look with hatred at Aron, who smiles coldly.

- You know, Taylor, you're a rock in my shoe! - he says putting his hands in his pockets. - More day, less day, you'll pay me for it.

- Is that a threat? - Ryder says between his teeth.

- An alert! - he answers.

- Then I can't wait for that day! - says Ryder with sarcasm.

Aron smiles coldly and salutes out of the room. I take a deep breath, confused by what Aron says and, groaning, I put my hand on the back of the head where Aron had pressed hard.

- Are you all right? Ryder bends down helping me up. - I sobbed in fear of Aron's eyes, for I had never seen him so furiously. - That bastard! I'm gonna break up with him!

Ryder says running his hand through my hair that was all messed up.

- I'm okay. I'm okay. I'm okay. I'm okay. Don't waste your time with Aron. - I mean holding on to his shoulders while he moans. - Thanks, but you've already done a lot to keep him from hitting me.

Ryder makes a face and then grabs a handkerchief starting to wipe my face. Because of the tears, I must have had my makeup all messed up.

- I came back to pick her up so we could go to the library. - he sighs. - If I'd gotten here a minute earlier, that asshole wouldn't have even touched you.

- He's only angry because I snubbed him and humiliated him. - I smile at him. - By the way, thank you so much for defending me. You're kind of cool when you don't act like an idiot.

- I told you, it's a pleasure to piss off Aron. - Ryder says passing his hands through my hair and gathering to hold it back, in such a delicate way that I almost sleep standing up.

- Is it okay if we postpone that until 7:00 at Starbucks?

- No problem! - Ryder smiles. - Are you really okay?

- Yeah, just a little tired!

- All right! All right! - he smiles back. - Then I'll see you later.

Ryder takes my books and walks me to the door. Aron was standing outside the hallway with Shane and Bruce by his side when we left the room.
