Chapter 1
The stillness of the night woke Jason from his sleep. It was too silent…too still. He’d been lying in bed listening to the waves gently coming ashore for what could have been a half an hour or hours. In the quietness of the private Cabo San Lucas Island, time seemed suspended. That was fine with him, after all, for the next week he was on his honeymoon.
Jason looked down at Vicky as she slept. She lay on her side facing him. The moon illuminating her beautiful face. He gently removed a strand of hair that had fallen over her eyes. As the moonlight streamed through their seaside cabin, Jason continued to softly run his fingers across her silky caramel skin and outlined her lips. They were still swollen from his kisses. While lying inside the crook of his arms, Vicky nestled her naked body as close to him as she could get. She looked well-loved…serene even. After everything that happened over the last several months they both could use just a little bit of peace. Jason was going to make sure they got it.
He rested his forehead against hers and smiled into the darkness as he took credit for giving her that satisfied look. Before falling asleep, he’d thoroughly made love to his wife. His wife. The thought alone made his heart beat a little faster. And, it felt damn good to be able to finally call her Mrs. Victoria Nicole Rutherford.
It was hard to believe it had been less than a year since they’d met, Angel’s accident, her recovery, the wedding, and preparing to have a baby of their own.
If it hadn’t happened to him, he wouldn’t have believed it was possible to fall in love with someone this quickly and this deeply.
In her sleep, Vicky moaned and threw her leg up and over Jason’s waist. She rubbed against him while leaving a trail of heat and wetness on his thigh. Jason was already in a semi-state of arousal but her touch made him harden and grow. A touch, a kiss…it didn’t seem to take much to get him aroused when he was around her.
He sucked in a deep breath and wondered if his need would always be this intense. They’d made love several times already tonight. Yet, he still wanted more. Jason had to remind himself to be careful since Vicky had had problems earlier in the pregnancy. However, the doctor did say she was perfectly healthy to resume all sexual activities.
Vicky’s body was calling out to him even in her sleep. She pressed into Jason and he allowed himself to slip between her swollen flesh without sliding all the way inside her body. Jason closed his eyes to bask in the sensation. He grabbed a hold of her hips and moved her over slightly so that he was perfectly aligned with her entrance. It was sweet agony when Vicky began to instinctively roll her hips up and down all over him.
Her need and the intensity of her passion woke her up. She blinked a couple of times before she was fully awake and realized the state of her body. A slow but sexy smile spread across her face.
Since she had already thrown one leg over the side of his waist, it was easy to just climb on top straddling him.
The rise and fall of Jason’s chest increased as her hands caressed him up and down and all across his rock hard body while she continued to slowly grind on him. She couldn’t resist bending over to kiss her husband. As she slid her tongue inside his mouth, the taste and feel of him was intoxicating.
Jason felt drugged by her kisses too. He delved deeply joining his tongue with hers as they made love to each other’s mouths.
