Jessie was in the nursery after putting the girls down for the night. She stood in semi-darkness with just the glow from the night light to illuminate the room.
It gave her such immense pleasure to watch her daughters sleep. They seemed so peaceful resting in their cribs. Jessie had no idea how much a person could love another until Adrienne and Adrianna Ramsey were born. The girls were such an amazing blessing to both her and Antonio.
She was exhausted from the day but couldn’t wait to see him. Antonio had called to say he was on his way home from working another double shift at the natural gas plant. Jessie hated that he worked so much overtime but she understood he did it for their family. As much as she missed him, Jessie was still thankful because Lord knew they could use the extra money.
