ship purred to life. The massive shutters moved, revealing an entire wall of glass and a million stars beyond.

I would have turned to thank him, but I was busy picking my jaw up off the floor, staring at the beauty before me.

Tiny dots of light were speckled over a dark sky like expensive sugar. I knew what they were, even if I had never seen them.

“Stars.”

I had never seen stars before. The older people on Earth used to tell stories about a time ages ago when you used to be able to see them from Earth's surface. I had always assumed them mad; there was no way that something so magnificent and beautiful was real.

And yet, here it was, right before me. I think I was starting to understand what those oldies had been talking about. Their descriptions hadn’t done this justice. This was so much more beautiful than I had ever dreamed.

"There's so many!" I whisper-gasped, stepping as close as I dared to the glass. I wasn’t sure if it would break and send me spiraling out into space. The black world was completely speckled in pinpricks of light, and far below us, getting smaller and smaller, was a brown and grey sphere, surrounded by rings of rubble.

"Is that Earth?" My heart cracked slightly, but I ignored it.

"It is," Fey answered, coming up to stand next to me. He was clean and scrubbed and shirtless, and I briefly wondered how he’d gotten in. Maybe I wouldn’t be allowed as much privacy as I thought. Not that I wasn’t accustomed to little privacy. "You'll never have to go back to that dead rock." His words were a gentle promise.

I turned, "I didn’t realize it was so bad... They told us stories of what Earth used to be like... with green and water… but..." seeing it from this angle it didn’t seem possible that the place had ever been alive.

"Wait until we show you everything in this universe. Green like you have never seen before..." Fey nodded, his lips pulling up in a smile. I could only smile back. I had no idea what he meant, but standing there, before all of those stars, was making me feel like anything was possible.

"I can show you things you've never seen before," He whispered, arm snaking around my bare waist as he pulled me into him, into the bulge that was already growing—and twitching—against me.

Even though I worked in a brothel, and was well-accustomed to men pressing their dicks against me, this sent a little thrill through my body, straight to my core. Warmth and wetness pooled there and I turned my face up to look at the golden man. He was nearly a foot taller than me, and a little shiver of pleasure shocked my heart. Apparently, I liked them big.

His equally mesmerizing golden eyes stared into my own and my heart rate picked up. Was that his strange power again? Maybe they couldn’t turn it off fully. Or, my heart whispered, maybe he’s just very aroused right now. Fuck.

I knew what he wanted, and I was ashamed to admit I badly wanted it too. Except, wasn’t I supposed to wait? Wait for… something. Yes, I was definitely supposed to wait until I was ready for this.

Fey leaned in to take a deep inhale of the soft skin of my neck, his strong arm pulling me somehow closer to his chest. It did not escape my notice that I was fully naked, he was half naked, and most of our skin was now pressed together.

Okay well, maybe I was ready. “So, you thought you’d pop down to Earth and purchase yourself a human?” I was distracting him, buying myself time.

“No. Not just any human, this human.” His voice had dropped an octave, all chocolate and seduction now. Listening to the smooth sound of that voice, another thing popped into my mind.

“How is it that you can speak English?” The question was random, cutting through the pure sex that Fey was oozing, but I couldn’t help myself.

Fey seemed equally surprised, but there was only a slight stutter in the waves of his power before it resumed its full strength. He ran a finger down my cheek, leaving a trail of fire behind. “English? Why, we Coxians take great care to learn the languages of all the planets. It’s something that comes easy to us, understanding other’s tongues. English is very rudimentary, but we are happy to use it with you.”

Huh. I tucked that knowledge away for later, reminding myself to have him speak his home language to me at some point. I could only imagine it was pure romance and seduction, something I definitely didn’t need more of right now. Unsure where to take the conversation next, I looked up into his captivating eyes again, trying to refocus.

“Well, now that you know I’m not for sale, what’s your next move?” Truly, I was trapped here. It’s not like I could skip back down to Smog City and resume my life as a stripper. Not to mention the fact that Natalia was a fucking bitch who didn’t deserve the many years of hard work I’d given her.

Anger coiled in my gut at the thought of her betrayal, but Fey distracted me by running his nose from my collar bone to my jawline. He placed a very gentle kiss behind my ear and that strange potent power washed over me even more. Arousal.

“My next move? Well, I’d like to finally taste you, if you’ll let me. From the moment I laid eyes on you in that club, I knew you were mine. Knew you were meant to be my first.”

“First?” I was surprised. Someone with his power, the power to seduce literally anyone he wanted at the drop of a hat, should have had sex many times already, right? Hundreds, even.

Fey laughed. “No, not first time fucking. You were meant to be my first partner. First wife. First of my harem.”

I froze in his arms,
