the impact of his words rendering me motionless for a few heartbeats. Harem? Again, I was no stranger to large groups of sexual encounters, but how did I feel about sharing this man with other women? I nearly laughed.

Fey wasn’t even mine to begin with, so why was I bothered by sharing him? Seeming to sense my discomfort, Fey gently pulled me over to the large bed in the center of the room. The massive thing could have fit five people comfortably, and I swallowed as I now understood why.

“Kylie?” I held up my hand to him as I sank onto the impossibly soft mattress. Gods, this is what I was meant to sleep on? How had I ever slept on that pitiful little bed back at the Scarlet Feather? Sinking into the comfort of the giant, squishy mattress, I didn’t respond, I fell backward until I was stretched languidly on the bed in front of Fey.

His eyes dilated as I stretched before him, and felt a fresh surge of the lust crash over me. I twitched in its wake, but smiled at the golden man. “I think I’m okay with that. Though, I’m not exactly yours to do with as you please.”

Fey smiled brightly, stretching out his glorious body next to me on the soft sheets. “You know, Myro thinks differently than I do. Our people, Coxians, we’re all meant to search the stars until we find our harem, our wives. Myro seems to believe that there’s only one woman out there for him. One mate.”

I quirked my eyebrow up at him, finally wondering at his brother’s absence. I didn’t know either of them well at all, but I’d gotten the impression that Myro was a little more cautious than Fey. Fey had taken the first opportunity to get me alone—not that I was complaining—while Myro was probably trying to give me some space.

“Oh? And how do you feel about that?” It was my turn to tease him, and I ran a finger up his arm. Goosebumps rose up beneath my finger, proof of how easily I affected him.

Fey ran one massive hand from my knee up to my hip, and I shivered beneath his warmth. Not raising his eyes to meet mine, he whispered, “I might be beginning to understand what he means.”

I sat up at that, ignoring the waves of lust and heat and desire that he was sending me. I saw his cock twitch—fully hard—beneath his pants, and felt saliva gather in my mouth. I wanted to pull him into my mouth, wanted to know what that golden skin tasted like.

“You are? Why?” I was curious. I knew that both he and Myro desperately wanted me. I mean, Fey had come to purchase me after all, and Myro seemed over protective, but I couldn’t understand what he meant. If what he said was true—that they were meant to find their harems—I didn’t know why he would change his mind.

“Because of you.” Fey looked up at me with something akin to shyness, and my heart rate again responded. He was so stunning to look at with that sun-kissed hair and sharp jawline. He didn’t know it, but I’d been as mesmerized by him as he had been by me. I didn’t care to tell him that.

“Go on.” I prompted.

“I’m not sure why you are different, but I feel drawn to you. As if you are the only person in this Mooridian universe who matters. As if I need no one besides you to fulfill me.”

“Mooridian?” I’d never heard the word.

“It is our god, of sorts. The being or entity that watches over all the creatures of the universe. She determines our fates and how they should intertwine.” Despite the topic of our conversation, I noted that the intensity of his desire had not waned in the slightest. As I realized this, our eyes met and he ran that same hand from my hip up to my rib cage. Just below my breast.

My breath caught, and I was unable to stop myself. I leaned forward the small distance between us and pressed my mouth to his.

It was like all of that power he’d been sending my way converged in the space where our lips met. Our bodies reacted in the only way we could: we exploded.

Before I knew what was happening, Fey was deepening the kiss, yanking my body on top of his, and plunging his hands into my hair. My reaction was no different. I dipped my tongue into his mouth and he captured it with teeth and tongue, toying with me as his hands moved from my hair to my ass.

He squeezed my ass and a deep groan escaped his throat. His erection prodded me between my legs and I tried not to notice the wetness that was practically dripping from me. Holy fuck did I want this man inside of me, but I was too lost in the moment to tell him. He needed no instruction though, and easily flipped me so he was now the one on top, gazing down at me with liquid gold yes.

“Kylie…” He muttered, seeming addled by our kiss. I didn’t let him finish, merely yanking him down until our mouths were melded once again. His power seemed to suffuse the air around us like a potent perfume, and it again became difficult to focus.

I’d never kissed anyone. Ever. When you were a bodyguard stripper, meant only to be hidden in the background like a delicate work of art, you tended not to touch the patrons. I’d never had the chance to develop feelings for any man, which meant that no one had ever tried to kiss me. Well, other than the creeps such as the ambassador.

This was everything I’d ever imagined, but multiplied by a million. How lucky was I that my first kiss—soon to be first fuck if his power was any indication of where the night was headed—would be with a golden, alien sex god? I’d always
