"So are we going to Earth then, if what he said was true then that idiot is—"
"We can't go to Earth, we will all die there," a second voice cut in, rumbling as the speakers grew closer. Myro slammed his palm against the pad again and again.
Click. Squish. Click. Squish.
"Still, it would be nice to see what all the fuss was about..."
"You want to see if they are as tight as they say."
The two men laughed; the sound close enough that if we didn’t move they’d spot us. No amount of golden blood was going to save us. In a panic, I turned, smashing my hand against the pad.
As if that would work, there were no female Coxians.
Which is why my jaw dropped to the floor when the door slid open, revealing a room that was nearly as neat and large and ornate as my room on our ship. My jaw dropped even further.
Holy fuck. I just thought ‘our ship’.
Ignoring that, I could only stare, despite how near death we were. My jaw was left behind, dangling from shock as Myro pulled me in, the door sliding shut so fast that I didn't even see the shoes of the two Coxians that were laughing so loud the sound blasted through the now closed door.
"Okay, so, one down..." I said, still holding onto the knife as I stared at the door, not quite believing that any of that had worked.
"A whole ship full to go." Myro added on. For the first time he sounded ready to go. If he had any ideas about why my very human—very female—palm had been able to open this random door on this random ship, he kept them to himself.
“Good. Let’s start now.” I turned, ready to race back out and to the bridge. This place was exactly like our ship. “I know where the bridge is, and I know exactly where I am going to sit… it’s the perfect height for some throat slicing.”
Myro whipped around from where he’d been inspecting the room. “And how exactly do you know where to hide on the bridge to ‘do some throat slicing’?”
I crossed my arms, inviting him to contradict me. “The ship’s layouts are the same, right? I think I know exactly where to go, and I’ll handle the throat slicing, so don’t worry about that.” I winked at him.
Myro lowered his gaze seductively, beginning to stride toward me at a predator’s pace. My heart stuttered in my chest, and I took an involuntary step back from Myro’s stalking gate.
“You may know where the bridge is, but how do you know what the height of the desks is good for?” He was teasing me, trying to get me to confess, gently pushing on me with his power.
For fuck’s sake. We were in the middle of something here! Except, looking at the heat in Myro’s face, the way he cocked his head at me with that rather sinister smile… Okay maybe I was aroused.
“I… I might have imagined it. What it could be used for.” Myro had reached me, his warm hands sliding up my arms. I shivered beneath his touch, and leaned my head back to gaze up at him, heart thundering.
Myro’s power was so perfectly aimed at the moment that the familiar waves sent my thighs quivering. He saw my trembling legs, and his power snapped back into him, leaving me empty and wanting. Then, he leaned forward to plant a very gentle kiss to the space where my neck met my shoulder.
“Ahh… right…. Well… No throat slicing until we are almost there.” Myro whispered into my neck. The topic of his sentence contrasted strangely with how hot we’d both become. “We can take control the day we are due to land. With how fast this ship is, that shouldn’t take more than a day or two.”
“But, what will we do in the meantime?” I was breathless, caught between desire for murder and desire for something else.
Myro looked at me sideways from where he’d been leaning back into my neck, blessing me with the cutest, cockiest smile I’d yet seen on him. Where this newfound confidence was coming from might have had something to do with the absence of Fey, but I wouldn’t let it go to waste. I had already fallen for both of my guys. The thought of what Fey was enduring right then made my heart ache. But Myro was right.
We had plenty of time. We had a good plan. What else were we going to do?
Leaning forward slightly, I ran my hands from the base of his spine to the back of his neck. Every strong muscle tensed beneath my hands. Myro pulled me closer to him with his hands on my ass, pressing his already thickened cock into my stomach.
I looked around, taking in what I could see of the room around Myro’s broad back. We weren’t too far from the bed, so I tried my luck. “Room, lights off.”
The room obeyed. Strangely, the absence of light equated to permission for Myro because he did not hesitate to sweep me into his arms, carry me over to the bed, and toss me on top.
I landed with a bounce, giggling and squirming to rearrange myself. There was enough light spilling from the bathroom to allow me to watch him swiftly remove the grey pants and shirt he’d borrowed.
Just as he was about to throw himself on top of me with as much force as he’d thrown me, I held up a hand. “What if this is someone’s room?”
Myro froze where he stood, dick twitching as it pointed at me, a drop of pre-cum already inviting me to lick it away. “Then they will have a nice surprise to return to.”
I laughed, but shook my head. I was not down for some random Coxian to walk in on us fucking and either want to join, or try to kill us. Well actually, that first option didn’t sound too bad…
“Really, Myro. I don’t want
