my pants.

“Mikayla, what the fuck? Roon will be back.”

“No time soon. So let me please you real quick.” She said as she successfully unbuttoned my jeans. I don’t know how since I was literally fighting with her.

“This not right.” I fussed, but she leaned up to kiss me.

“He won’t know. He trusts you.”

“And that’s the problem. He trusts me, Mikayla. I already feel like shit about what we did, but I didn’t know.”

“Right, you didn’t know. So this is not bad. It’s our farewell because I know you won’t ever look at me the same anymore.”

“Are you still pregnant?”

“Yes, I have an appointment next week to handle it.”

“Does Roon know you’re pregnant?”

“Hell no, he’ll kill me.”

“Hell, what do you think he’ll do to me if he finds out I’m the one who got you pregnant.”

“I know, and I’m sorry about that.” She said, finally stopping what she was trying to do and getting up to sit next to me.

“So, you knew who I was when you saw me in the club that night?”

“At first, I was unsure, but when I got closer, I knew it was you. I’ve had a crush on you since I was little and knew that if I told who I was, you would know I was younger than how I was portraying. I just wanted a fair chance without anything in the way.”

“You do know that was wrong?” I asked as I zipped my jeans back up.

“Yeah, I know, and I’m truly sorry. I didn’t want any of this to happen like this. I should have been honest, and maybe we still could’ve been friends.” She said as she started to tear up.

“We are still friends. We had good chemistry, I can’t lie.”

“Do you still like me?”

“Yeah, I can’t lie. But Roon is my brother, and you’re still young.”

“But I’m not in high school anymore, and it’s only a four year age difference. That’s not that bad.”

“Seventeen and twenty-one…that shit doesn’t even sound right.”

“So, now what?”

“I don’t know. I’ll make sure you’re good after you handle that, and we can just be cool. You’re young, go to college, date around, and live your life.”

“Wayne, you act like you’re forty or something.” She giggled.

“I know I’m still young, but I have two kids. I skipped college, and I work for your brother. I just got my own crib, but your brother actually gave it to me. I don’t have much going for myself.”

“It’s not too late, though. You still have time to change that. If not for you, then do it for your girls. You said their mother wasn’t a good role model, so you can be their role model. Teach them to do better than what you did.” She said, rubbing my thigh and grabbing my hand.

“You see that much potential in me?” I smiled.

“There’s a lot that I see in you that you don’t know.” She said as she kissed my cheek then got up from the couch.

“What’s that?” I asked as I watched her head to her room.

“In due time, you’ll see. I’ll be in my room and tell Roon I want Chinese for dinner.” She said before she closed her door. I just shook my head and smiled. I swear this girl might have me risking it all for her ass...once she gets older, though.

June 2016

As I looked around the restaurant, which was not crowded, I fixed my hair and reapplied some lip gloss. I tried to keep my outfit simple, but I also wanted to impress Eric. So I wore a cute matching light washed denim piece; jacket and shorts. I only had a nude-colored lace bra under it because I wanted to be sexy. I had a small crossbody Gucci purse and matching slides. I got my hair done yesterday; black 26’ straight virgin hair flowing down my back with a middle part. My hairstylist even hooked me up with some eyelash extensions, so I was really feeling myself. My nails and toes were white from a trip to a nail salon last week. I was feeling and looking great, I just needed for Eric to see me since I did this all for him. Eric and  I made plans to go on our first date tonight, and I was so nervous. I know I was the one who asked for it, but now that it was official, I was scared. I think I was scared of what will happen during and after. Eric and I never really did anything like this, where we actually sat down and got to know each other. We started off as a secret, and I’m not sure how it will be once we go public. I had yet to tell Bre because I still wasn’t sure about us. I really loved Eric, but a significant part of me felt like I should be cautious.

And I’m glad I was because here I was sitting at Five Guys waiting over thirty minutes for him. He told me that he was staying a little late at work to make some extra money. The last update from him was twenty minutes ago, and he claimed he was headed my way soon. I didn’t want to seem pressed and blow his phone up, but I was getting impatient. I looked down at my phone and decided to call him because I know the employees were tired of me sitting here and not ordering. I told them I was waiting for somebody, but that was a while ago, they probably thought I was lying or got stood up.

“That’s odd,” I said after putting my phone down on the table. Eric didn’t answer, nor has he replied to my last text message. I wasn’t trying to jump to conclusions, but I was a little concerned. I decided to just go
