jokes DK to Beth.

Beth replies, “Don’t call me that, it feels like dad

yelling at me when you call me that.”

“Is breakfast ready?” asks Jacob to Beth with an

assertive tone.

DK notices the tone that Jacob had towards his sister

Beth and he didn’t like it. DK is very protective of his

younger sister Beth and he doesn’t like it when people are

rude and disrespectful to her.

“Yeah, it’s all ready to go,” answers Beth to Jacob.

“You want some breakfast?” asks Beth to DK.

Before DK can answer, Jacob answers, “He’s good.

He doesn’t need anything.”

Beth looks at DK and DK answers, “I’m good sis,

but thank you though.”

“Okay,” says Beth and then Beth closes the sliding

glass door.

“Let me know if you hear anything about Ryan and

if Brad from Channelside did what he was supposed to

do,” says Jacob to DK.

“I haven’t heard anything yet, but I will tell you if I

do,” replies DK.

“Thank you, I’ll see you later,” says Jacob and then

Jacob enters his house through the sliding glass door.

DK looks at Jacob’s closed sliding glass door and

feels disgust and hatred for Jacob.

“Yeah, I’ll let you know all right. I always let you

know when the dirty work is done,” says DK to himself

and then DK continues his late morning run down the

beach and he arrives at his house.

DK isn’t sure what to do about Jacob and he thinks

about all the different scenarios that could easily happen to

Jacob.

“I kill Jacob, but Beth and Brandon hate me forever.

I kill Jacob, but make it look like an accident. I get

someone else to kill Jacob and then the heat is off me, but I

still get what I want,” says DK to himself.

DK thinks about what to do and he’s torn over what

should be done with Jacob. DK is a complicated guy and

he holds himself to a different standard and code than

Jacob and the other Conquerors.

DK looks at the walkie-talkie that belongs to the one

that he gave me and thinks about trying to reach me.

“Maybe I can get Ryan to kill Jacob?” asks DK to

himself.

DK thinks about the plans that were put in motion

by Sal and Jacob and how he can alter the plans and get

away with taking Jacob out.

Jacob sits at the head of his dining room table with Beth and Brandon. Brandon looks at Jacob and asks, “Do you think DK will show me how to fight?”

Jacob looks at Beth with an annoyed expression.

“I hear he’s a great fighter, do you know how to fight dad?” asks Brandon to Jacob.

Jacob looks at Brandon and answers, “DK is a soldier and I’m more of a general.”

Brandon nods his head in agreement with Jacob’s answer and then he eats some of his breakfast.

Beth looks at Jacob and asks, “Is this our new home? Is this definitely where we are staying now?”

“For the foreseeable future,” answers Jacob and then Jacob eats some of his breakfast that Beth made him.

“I enjoy Sarasota and everything around here, but I just want to make sure we won’t have to move again like we did for the fourth time now,” says Beth.

Jacob drops his fork on his plate, and he looks at Beth with a frustrated expression.

Beth and Brandon look at Jacob.

“Like I told you before, we needed to keep moving to get away from the people that wanted to hurt us. I did it to keep us safe,” says Jacob as he glares at Beth from across his dining room table.

“I know, I’m sorry for asking,” replies Beth.

“Are those people still looking for us?” asks Brandon.

“Yes, but we are taking care of it,” answers Jacob.

“I bet DK is, he’s so badass,” says Brandon.

Jacob gets pissed after hearing Brandon’s statement about DK and he storms away from the dining room table and he walks back into his bedroom.

Beth and Brandon stay sitting at the dining room table and Beth says to Brandon, “Finish your breakfast.”

Jacob looks into his master bathroom oversized mirror and shakes his head out of frustration.

Beth walks into the master bedroom and sees Jacob standing in the master bathroom.

“Was my breakfast that bad?” jokes Beth to Jacob.

“No, it was fine,” answers Jacob with a serious tone, while he sees Beth sitting on their bed through the reflection in his master bathroom oversized mirror.

“What’s really going on babe? I only want to help you,” says Beth to Jacob.

Jacob turns around and looks at Beth.

“Why won’t you let me help you?” asks Beth as she starts to get upset.

Jacob walks over to Beth and sits next to her on the edge of their bed.

“I feel the group is seeing me as weak and not as strong as Joseph and that pisses me off… My whole life I was always the brother of Joseph…The small brother of the larger than life Joseph,” says Jacob.

Beth looks at Jacob as Jacob stares at the wall.

“I’m sick of being second best and people not respecting me,” says Jacob with an assertive tone.

“Make them respect you,” says Beth.

Jacob stands up and replies, “That’s what I have been trying to do but it’s not working.”

Beth looks at Jacob.

“I’m not my brother and I’m glad that I’m not. He was arrogant and thought he was untouchable,” says Jacob.

“But people loved him,” says Beth.

Jacob glares at Beth after hearing her remark.

“I meant it as people miss him and what he brought to our group,” replies Beth.

“That is true, but he was taken down… And I have to show our people that I am going after the people who killed their beloved Joseph,” says Jacob.

“What are you going to do?” asks
