mouth ravishes me.

“Let me see those pretty breasts of yours,” he mutters. “Your nipples have been poking out of this thin little shirt all night, teasing me, and I've been dying to know if they’re as perfect as I imagined.”

He grabs the top of my pajama top and pulls it down under the mound of my breasts.

His hard cock is pressing into my back and telling me he's just as turned on by this as I am.

He squeezes my breast to the point it's painful, yet at the same time, the pleasure overrides it. “I think you just got wetter; my fingers are dripping with your juices.”

He drags his finger across my clit making me quiver, as he sucks on my earlobe. My toes curl and my stomach tightens as I reach my peak.

“I feel you, squeeze my fingers, Red, come all over them,” he growls into my ear as he slides into me faster.

I unravel around him and my body falls limp against him. “If this is what going slow is like with you. I can't wait till it's all speed ahead.”

“Soon, Red, soon.” He places a kiss to my temple and I fall asleep.

I’m warm. Deliciously warm. The sound of a steady heartbeat thumps in my ear and there’s also something very stiff between my legs.

I could get used to sleeping like this every night.

My eyes peel open and slowly adjust to the sunlight filtering through the blinds in my living room. The TV is on the Netflix home screen and the popcorn bowl is still full. We never did watch the movie.

“Hi, Mama.” Matty appears like a ghost out of nowhere, holding his newly acquired stuffed toy Liam bought him at the aquarium last week. The little stinker got out of his crib all by himself.

“Hi, baby.” I try to move, but Liam has me in a death grip.

"Li-um," Matty greets excitedly and places a wet kiss on his face. "Wakey.”

"It's Daddy, buddy…" Liam says groggily, but I’m not sure he’s even awake. He grips me tighter and knocks back out with a light snore.

“Try again, baby.”

"Daddy, wakey." Matty shoves his tiny hand in his face, forcing it to the other side, making Liam’s eyes shoot open.

"What the—"

“Daddy, play.” He wiggles his stuffed sea lion at him.

"Did he call me daddy?” Liam asks, still in a state of confusion from his rude awakening.

"You told him to."

"I did?"

"In your sleep."

“And he listened this time?”

I laugh. “He did.”

“Play.” Matty presses again, stomping his little foot.

“I’ll play in a second, bub.” Liam reaches down between us and adjusts his hard on. “I need to wake up a little.”

“Something is already up.” I smirk and he pinches me.

“You’re cute,” he mutters sarcastically, lacing his fingers through my hair.

Neither of us don’t move or say anything. Matty has made himself busy on the floor in front of us, forgetting about his parents who are busy making eyes at one another. Liam runs his thumb over my lips, and I wet them in response.

"Good morning," he says huskily.

"Yeah," I whisper the only words I know how to formulate. He smiles and my head falls into the crook of his neck. "I can't believe we passed out like this last night."

"Well, you passed out after the little gift I gave you.” He winks and I shove his shoulder. “I didn't have the heart to move you. I grabbed the blanket and laid down. I was going to slip out, but I guess I passed out too, once I got comfortable.” He presses his fingers to his lips. “I can still smell you.”

“You’re awful.” I dart my eyes to our son and then place a kiss to his lips. “But it was just what I needed.”

“Glad I could help. I much enjoyed hearing your little moan as you came around my fingers.”

“Alright, that’s enough out of you.” I roll off him and slide to the floor, stretching my sore limbs.

He stands up beside me, moaning and groaning as he stretches out his back.

"You okay there?"

"Just a little stiff. I'll be alright."

"I guess you didn't have the most comfortable sleeping conditions last night."

"Are you kidding? They were perfect." He bends down to touch his toes, groaning as he does so. He reminds me of my grandfather every time he moved.

"If you want, I have some aspirin. It might help your stiffness," I say, eyeing the half mast in his shorts. I sorta feel bad I didn’t help him with his problem last night like he helped me.

"No, I'm fine."

"You sure? You don’t sound fine with all that groaning going on." I giggle.

“I said I’m fine," he snips, glaring down harshly at me. "I don't take any kind of pain relievers. Don’t ask again."

Wow, okay. The playful mood between us quickly sours and I rise to my feet wanting to get out of his path before it spoils further. I make my way to the kitchen to give him some space and flip on the light. "How about some coffee instead?"

"That sounds great," he mumbles as he brushes his hands through his messy hair. Matty drives a car up his leg, but I’m not sure he even notices him doing it.

It’s not the first time Liam has lost his cool like this, but it’s mainly when it comes to liquor. I never thought I would see this reaction over aspirin.

I fill the coffee filter with some dark roast and push start. The water percolates and I grab two mugs out of the cabinet. Liam’s arm slips around my waist and he rests his chin on my shoulder. The tension in the room melts away.

“I didn’t mean to snap at you.”

“I wish you would
