"Oh, wow! It's beautiful, Leo."
"I know right, it's like the..."
"...emerald beauty." I finished his sentences.
"Exactly." I looked into his blue eyes, which were sparkling—brightly.
We sat on the ground, sitting next to each other. Leo sat closed to me. I had never allowed anyone to get that close to me, but I let him use my personal space this time and will anytime in the future.
I was admiring the view—the scenery, dozens of fish, swimming in the clear water, but there was one thing missing - The ducks!
"Where are the ducks?" I squinted my eyebrows at him.
"Okay, okay... you got me." He threw his hands up in surrender. "I guess I just wanted to hang out with you here. I like coming here."
"Alone?" I asked.
"Yeah."
"Leo, why do you come here alone?" I asked, intruding.
"Well, I don't want anybody to see me naked when I take a bath here."
My eyebrows shot up in surprise, and a snickered left my throat. I heard a soft chortle from Leo, and the chortle turned into a laugh.
When the laugh slowly faded. "I come here when I require distraction, I guess. I like it here—it's quiet, serene..."
"Peaceful. I know how that feels." I finished his thought yet again. I stole a glance at him only to find him gazing at me with a smile.
"Ah, so you also have a place you visit, then?"
"Well, not exactly a place, it rides around town," I said.
"What do you mean by ride?" Leo scrunched his eyebrows in pure confusion.
"A bus," I said.
"Bus?"
"Yeah, strange I know." I giggled.
"Yeah, it is strange, so the constant stops, the weird sound of hydraulic brakes, people getting in and out of the bus. You find that peaceful?"
I began to notice that Leo always asks questions to elicit information about me.
"I know that the bus is not exactly quiet or serene. It's also not easy to like the bus ride for the first time, but after some time, you kinda get used to it, and these things begin to fade away from your awareness."
I rested my head on his shoulder and shut my eyes for a moment. Leo sitting next to me, his company, I felt myself drifting into a very serene feeling.
"So why do you take bus rides?"
"I guess I love to travel, and besides, the purr of the engine soothes me." I shrugged. "I get sufficient time to think, and sometimes I write."
"Write? What do you write?"
"Anything that comes to my mind," I said, getting closer to the water. I suddenly remembered that I was thirsty earlier, but lost that feeling when I was dazzled by this beautiful scenery around me.
"Ah... ha... So you did write this then—'Now in loneliness, my eyes are searching—" He was singing.
I froze on hearing those words from Leo's mouth.
I instantly turned around. Leo was holding a paper and reading from it. How did he find it? Where and when did he?
"Leo, give me that." I jumped to take it away from his hand, but he raised it higher. He was taller than me, so of course, it annoyed me even more.
"Tell me to whom you've written it for?" He kept shuffling the paper from one hand to another while I was jumping like crazy to snatch the paper from his hold.
"How did you even find it?" I asked.
"I found this page along with the other page that had my number written on. I guess you tore these two pages together."
"Leo, that was private, you were not supposed to read it." I gave up and pouted.
"Is it about me, huh? Did you write this when we first met, Aries?"
I lowered my lashes.
I shied away and never answered him. Standing at the edge of the water, I bent down. The water looked clean and drinkable. I scooped some water in my hand, brought it to my lips, and drank. The water was crisp and sweet. I did that couple more times to satisfy my thirst.
I felt Leo's eyes were following my every move. I glanced up at him, and holding his gaze, I stood up straight. His eyes were lingering on my lips. Oddly I found my eyes doing the same, looking at his lips.
He stepped closer, narrowing the gap between us. He reached forward and placed his hand behind my neck. I didn't move, not even dared to. The way he was looking at me terrified me, lust was glowing in his eyes. My heart was pounding so hard inside my rib cage, threatening to jump out of me.
Leo leaned in and slowly licked off the water droplet from my bottom lip with his tongue, very smoothly. I gasped, and my body tingled with excitement.
And next thing, Leo made a sudden move and smashed his lips on mine. His hands wrapped around my head, pulling me closer to him. I grasped his shirt for support, and I felt his nipples getting stiff on my touch. He nibbled on my lower lip, seducing me to open my mouth, and then parted my lips with his tongue.
I barely opened my mouth and yet he managed to slip his tongue inside, moving smoothly, gliding over my tongue in a sensuous manner. I gave out a moan, and that only made him grab the back of my neck. Then, he pressed down his lips to deepen the kiss. Our mouths were moving in harmony with each other, tongues dancing and teeth knocking—occasionally. We kissed each other hungrily. It got harder and denser. My grip on him got tighter as he devoured me.
The sensual pleasure provoked something inside me, something so powerful that I had never felt anything like it before. The hot flame was too much for me to handle.
