Skye started to cry harder.
"No," I said. "Leo, I need to tell her that I'm still alive." I stared up at him with watery eyes.
"Not right now, Aries." He took me in his arms. "You don't want to put her life at risk. We need to keep her safe and out of sight from Simon." Leo whispered while rubbing my back.
I sagged against his chest, losing all my energy. "I just wanted to tell her that I'm here."
"I know."
He was right. It scared me to the core, knowing if anything would happen to Skye. She was the only family left to me, and I needed to protect her. I understood, now, how serious all of this was going to be.

I was a Witch.
I couldn't believe I was a Witch—a Witch, in love with a Werewolf. Everything about the mystical world started to make sense. I was still spiritually growing in a place where I felt a strong sense of belonging.

A great deal of new information I learned that the relationship between werewolves and witches was very delicate. Evidently, the two species never got along with one another. But that was ages and eons ago. It was now the twenty-first century, and the world was changing, accepting different and new kinds—altogether.
I also discreetly learned there were hundreds of werewolves living together, like in a pack, with their families. They had a title, a name called 'The Iron Moon Pack,' and it was only the beginning of a new era.
Iron Moon Pack was one of the biggest packs that had earned the highest reputation for their unique mix of different kinds, living and learning in one land.
Iron Moon Pack had its own facilities such as hospitals, libraries, and schools, where each pup learned about werewolves' history. They also had an Academy of Magic for witches, which also came with witchcraft laboratories.
I.M was an only pack in the world to embark on an ambitious program for Rouges. An Iron Training facility for Rouges, also known as I.T.R.
Where each rouge underwent hardcore, intense training for five years to become highly trained soldiers, the motive behind it was simple—giving them ONE second chance in an attempt to reconcile their lives.
Nora Carter, Leo's mother, was the CEO of the Iron Moon Pack.
Xander Carter was the proud Co-founder of this Institution. Leo, being the next King Alpha, will continue his legacy.
The most astounding thing I saw just by simple observation from his kind, was that the pack had a great affection for Leo, from bairns to elders. They all highly admired and respected his courage, abilities, and exceptional personal qualities. I couldn't be more proud of my MATE.
I also found out about Jedrek— he was a beta werewolf. Haley, Sara, and Vivian - all three 'She Wolfs.'

I was still getting used to living here, with the people around me. I've always lived alone, isolated, and unloved. Although living here was different, they all treated me with respect and love and honored me. They bowed their heads at me, their unselfish act, simply filled me with an uneasy feeling, I didn't like that.
Honestly, their love was more than enough for me, but Leo explained it to me, it was their way of showing respect to their Luna, and that I should accept and value them.
Like I said, I was only getting used to the fact that all the beings living here now would always be a part of my life.

Leo's Grandmother — she was a psychic, a medium. She was indeed Leo's, great, great grandmother, and everyone honored her by the name 'GG.'
After Leo marked me, GG communication via text was her way to guide me to follow the right path.
GG had brutally separated us, and she forbade me to stay with Leo in his house, in his bedroom, until the rituals.
She said— 'It will only keep the romance alive.'
Although Leo had been in sexual relations before me, we both have agreed to follow this antiquated custom. However, I was getting eager for his touch. It had been three weeks since I moved here to the packhouse, and I was not with Leo for all three weeks. During this period, we've barely seen each other or stole a hug or a kiss from each other.
We were close, but still apart. All the love I want to cherish with him was put on stop by GG.

Ever since the 'Witches of Triora' had informed us that Simon is coming for me, Leo had doubled his training. On the other hand, I was politely learning spells and witchcraft and getting acquainted with my powers.
I was very grateful. My mate was going through an extreme way to protect me. Leo had devoted his entire time to keep me safe, though this is also another way of showing his love for me, I was craving his physical touch.
'Ugh... GG, she was killing me by keeping us away.' I know it seems like I'm complaining, but I miss Leo...so so so much.
"Aries, quick, I just spotted Leo on the training ground, and he's all alone." Sara winked at me.
We barely got to know each other at school. Still, after I started living here, we instantly connected, got close, and became excellent friends.
"He is!" I jumped up, almost spilling the potion all over the table.
She nodded excitedly. Without wasting another second, I thanked her and ran off to the direction at the training ground. She knew my suffering for Leo, how I was longing for him. I knew he was too.
When I reached the ground, my eyes were searching the premises for that tall, muscular figure. Fortunately, the field was empty; there was no one, and sadly, so was Leo.
"Too late, he's gone." I sighed, murmuring to myself. Disappointed, I shut my eyes hard and let out a frustrated breath.
"Are you looking for me?" Leo asked; his voices came from behind me.
Upon hearing his sound, relief flooded through my body. A satisfied smile crawled its way on my lips.
I slowly
