I begged Simon, wholeheartedly. Bargained my powers, offered him to take away, and leave me alone. But he only insisted on me—instead of war.
The tragic event, the pain, everyone's death, all this devastation was going to cause to save one person's life—ME.
So I didn't even spare another thought for it at all and surrendered myself to him and became his prisoner.
'I'll bear all the injustices, pain, for the sake of my Love, for my pack.'
"I'm so sorry, Leo." I mustered those words and pulled the moonstone necklace out of my neck and left it on the ground as my farewell note.

A Glimpse On Leo's P.O.V.
Leo found Aries' moonstone necklace lying on the floor.
He picked it up and clenched his fists tightly and let out a massive growl of anger when he discovered Aries was gone.
Every single werewolf in the Iron Moon Pack heard their Alpha's piercing cry. Their thick hackles rose along their spines.
They all understand the feeling of separation, and they all were hurt.
"I'm so sorry, Aries. I should have been the one to protect you. I should have been here with you." He dropped on the floor, emotionally crippled, clutching on the necklace that Aries had left behind.
The torment in his chest painfully squeezed into the bleeding heart.
Though all the safety barriers were designed keenly to prevent the ambush—Leo still blamed himself for the insufficient planning. It stung him—badly for failing in his duty and responsibility. If only he could have arrived on time, soon after realizing the devious stratagems Simon had used.
Leon howled and growled fucking pissed off. Leo littered the entire bedroom out of control with wreckage, feeling helpless, rather than being rational or reasonable.
Nothing will sate his rage and hatred right now until he takes his revenge.
"I'm not giving up on you, Aries," his helpless nature turned to malice, and with the anger growing at an alarming speed, he made a promise. "And I'm coming for you, Simon." The lust was shining in its canine eyes to kill him.
Though the War and Crime have different meanings, for Leo, this was where it gets married into the same purpose.
And Rules...? Fuck the Rules. Rules are ignored when bloodthirst takes over.
All's fair in love and war.

CHAPTER 19
Before long, we arrived on a secluded island, and a large mansion made a prominent display, surrounded by landscaped gardens and lawns.
Farthest from the center, this dwelling had many windows that make obvious they were attached to many rooms. And since it belonged to the devil—it surely has to have prison cells and dungeons. Where I was expecting, Simon, to throw me in one of those dark holes, with chains wrapped around my wrists and ankles—locked behind the iron bars. But. To my astonishment, we were walking down the long hallway, passing room after rooms, and soon we came to a stop in front of a door.
"Aries, this is where you will be staying." Simon took the liberty and opened it for me and gestured to me to go in.
I walked in, and this bedroom was a vast area, clean, and had a shabby chic touch. I walked further in, and the long chiffon curtains were swaying from the breeze coming from the balcony that opens to a beautiful view of the ocean.
When I turned around, my eyes fell on the small female figure standing next to Simon. Her head had bowed down, and I couldn't well see her face.
"This is Gutru, she will be at your full service, anything you want, need, Gutru here will obey them."
I wanted to laugh at his comment. What I wish, needed was my mate, my love, my Leo, and he thinks his maid he'd appointed to my service will fulfill my expectation.
"Tonite, I'm hosting a formal dinner, a celebration in your honor, in the grand dining hall. I'll expect to see you at eight." Simon announced. I didn't even spare him a glance. With that, he takes his leave.
Even with all the luxury in the world, he was alone with endless power and wealth.
After Simon left, Gutru still had her head bowed down.
"Hello." I greeted her. She did not answer at once, nor did she put an effort to move or lookup. She stood there like a statue.
"You're not allowed to leave this room at any time. There's a blockade on all the windows, doors, and gates that prevents access." Gutru explained to me, while still looking down at the ground.
"You want to know anything, you ask me. You need something, just call me, day or night. I'll be outside of your bedroom door waiting for your request." She finished talking.
"Well, I'm glad I met you. In a place like this, I would rather have a friend, you know." I spoke to her, encouraging, to break the barrier of whatever Simon must have told or maid her to be.
Gutru's head shot up. She was brown-eyed beauty, petite with a pleasing figure. I gave her an assuring smile.
"It's so nice to hear the word 'friend.' Around here nobody speaks, nobody listens, nobody laughs." She complained.
"Well, now I'm here so that you can talk and I'll listen."
"That would be awesome." She sighed happily.
"Good." I smiled at her.
"So... you're the famous Aries." She said, poking fun at it. "The only name I've heard from Lord Simon's with pleasure."
The word 'Lord' for Simon neither favored nor disfavored me, but I sneered at Gutru's narrative. I don't like anyone to think of me in that manner. I have a mate, and I only belong to Leo.
LEO, I felt a pang in my chest, thinking of him. I went to touch my necklace but remembered I left it back at home.
'Home,' the word was the first time I have used it. Though I lived with Judin, Ken, and Skye for a long time, I never have called that house 'A home.' Now I was away, taken away from my home. I miss home.
Gutru started blathering on about stuff, but I barely paid any attention
