When the few leftovers are bagged up for my grandmother to take home, and everyone is gone, I find myself back in Carson’s arms kissing him madly.
“I told you everything would work out,” he says smugly.
“You did. Maybe I should give you a reward for being so right…”
I pull my dress up and off and drop it to the living room floor. His eyes dilate as he looks me up and down. His eyes stop on my belly, and if he didn’t have such a heated look in his eyes, I might feel self-conscious about my growing body. I could never think he finds me anything but sexy with how he looks at me.
Carson lets out a growl and stalks toward me. I squeal and take off in a run toward our bedroom. I look around for someplace to hide, but of course, there is nowhere. Not that I really want to hide. My husband-to-be just likes the chase. Before I can decide which way to go from here, he has me swooped up in his arms and flat on my back on the bed.
“I love you, Analise Jameson,” he growls. “I want you to be Analise Moore. I don’t want to wait. I want you mine in all ways.”
The sincerity in his eyes does me in. “Okay. Let’s get married. I’m ready to be Mrs. Moore.”
With another low growl, he takes my lips in a searing kiss. We make love until we both collapse in an exhausted heap. He didn’t lie when he said he wanted to worship me. I feel worshiped and loved and completely and totally his.
