but I’m tired of lying around and doing nothing. I’m either normally lounged in one of these chairs, where you are on the couch, in Stoney’s office on the couch, or in our room. I can relax and still feel productive, you know.” Well you can’t argue with her on that one.

Nodding I give her a small grin. “Okay, Rachel. I’ll take some of that stew when it’s ready.”

Grinning, Rachel gets up and heads for the kitchen, Tinsley and Cara follow her, I’m sure to make sure she doesn’t do anything strenuous. Luna and Victoria both stay near, keeping me company at the same time giving me the space I need.

Chapter Nine

Blaze

During church we’d discussed what needed to be done in order to get my son back. From what Nerd found on the assholes assisting Dixie they are the very ones who had Corinne on that auction website. Sucky part of it all was one of them, Louis Pelletier, is Tyres and Brake’s father. The very same man they’re both itching to get their hands on, him and their uncle who ironically is Breaker’s sperm donor.

“You ready for this, brother?” Stoney asks from the passenger seat of my truck as we pull out on the road. I’d taken my truck knowing there was no way to get my son on my bike. Not when he needs to be in a car seat.

“I want my son back and those bitches in the fuckin’ ground for what they’ve done. Not only did they try to kill my ol’ lady with a concoction to cause her to overdose, but they stole my son mere minutes after he was born. I fucked up by leaving him alone. I shouldn’t have done that; however, there’s nothing I can do now about it but make things right,” I say.

“I get you there. When those fuckers with the Lucifer Heretics sold Corinne I’d gone ballistic. I’ve fucked up enough over the past year and some change. It’s time we get a break from the crazies,” he mutters.

“You and me both, Prez, I’m sick of this shit. From what happened with Tinsley, Luna, and Cara, I think the club’s seen enough drama for a while. Put what you and Rachel just went through and this, it’s the icing on the cake.”

“Fuck, don’t remind me of what happened a few weeks ago. It’s burned in my brain. I’ll never forget it and I’m never allowing anything to come between Rachel and I again,” Stoney growls.

“Good for you, Prez,” I say with a nod.

“Thanks, brother, I think Rachel’s pregnant again. She’s showing some signs of it like she did with Sebastian.”

“Damn, that’s awesome, Prez,” I state, truly happy for him and Rachel. After what they went through they deserve happiness in their lives.

“Yeah. Now all we have to do is get your boy back and we can all have some peace for a while at least.” Prez chuckles.

“Shit, if only it would last longer than a while. Seems every one of the women who come around here end up with some sort of drama. I’m just wondering how long it’s going to take Neo to sink his fingers into that one chick the girls have grown attached to,” I mutter.

The both of us go silent as we get closer to our destination. According to Nerd the bitch trio and fuckhead one and two are staying at an old plantation style home.

“Let’s pull off on the side of the road. Don’t want them hearing all the bikes coming in their direction. Brothers can climb in the truck bed and we’ll floor it the rest of the way,” Stoney announces.

Nodding, I pull to the side and wait for my brothers to climb in the back. Pitch Black got in the back seat. “Blaze, Mamma suggests that you clear your mind and block out the hatred. Her words not mine.”

“Appreciated,” I grumble and put the truck in gear as I hit the gas.

Flooring it, I hope my brothers are holding on as I whip the truck through the curves and speed down the bumpy roads. My mind is already clear of all thoughts but getting my son back. I’m not about to put his life in any more danger than it already is.

Soon the house comes into view. The front of the house is bare, and no vehicles can be found. I slam the gear into park and throw my door open.

“Looks like they’re not here,” Coyote says, hopping out of the back.

“Don’t let your eyes fool you, brother,” Shadow states.

“Something’s not right here,” Pitch Black growls.

“No,” I agree with him. “Let’s spread out and search the place. See if we can’t find something,” I suggest.

Each of us search the house moving from room to room. When I enter one of the bedrooms, I instantly hear it. The whimpering cries.

Walking around the dusty room, my heart stops beating at the sight of my son, laying there on the floor barely flailing his arms. His body completely exposed on a filthy wooden floor.

“Fuck,” I whisper, slipping my cut off, I rip my shirt off and bend down to lift Mark up off the floor. “Found him,” I yell while wrapping him in my shirt to warm him. “You’re okay, little man. Your momma is waiting for you.”

Turning on my heel, I dart out of the room. “Need to get to the truck. Get him warm. Someone call Alverez see if he can get a pediatrician to the clubhouse,” I say as I run through the house passing my brothers.

“On it, brother,” Shadow mutters.

Pitch Black rushes past me to get to the truck. “You get in the back with him,” he says.

“There was nothing else in that house,” Stoney says.

“You don’t think they left him here to draw us away from the clubhouse to get to Victoria and Raven, do you?” Tracker asks.

“Fuck,” Pitch Black snarls. “We need to get back to the clubhouse, now.”

“You got that right and
