Our comrades are still fighting at Cotton Village with Osay. We need to move there immediately to help them.”

Commander Greene appeared in front of Thomas. The massive army of the Greenies assembled behind them. Humans and guards stood with them.

“MORE WAR!” the Greenies shouted.

Thomas couldn’t help but smile at their excitement.

“We need to help the Scavenger now,” Thomas said. “But how are we going to transport all of you to Cotton Village?”

A Greenie said to Thomas, “We don’t know how to reach the place. We can’t even search the place like this. We can only leave for the mountains and pray that the Scavenger calls us. He has a bracelet. In case he doesn’t, you call us on reaching there.”

“We plan to move to Cotton Village immediately,” Thomas said. “The medics will take care of Skazen. The women and children are already safe here in the underground bunkers. Let’s move.”

The Greenies started disappearing to the Shephard Mountains.

The medics took Skazen away on a stretcher. Pyros, Thomas and Staler summoned a chariot and boarded it.

Pyros looked up at the sky and whispered, “Hold on, my dear friend Scavenger. We are on the way.”

As the Scavenger and the children descended on the platform, the Scavenger said, “Ready! There will be soldiers waiting for us.”

The children nodded and conjured up a shield in front of them.

The platform halted. There were soldiers all around in the narrow space. They shot arrows on the children and the Scavenger. The arrows clattered against the shield.

The Scavenger made the shield disappear as they ran off into a corridor. Archer continuously shot out fireballs from his hands that hit the enemy soldiers, killing them on spot.

The children and the Scavenger moved as a team. They systematically made their way to the far side of the tunnel. The survey done by the Scavenger proved useful. They could plan their moves very well in advance.

Within a minute, they reached a closed steel door.

The Scavenger turned and, with a kick, sent the steel door crashing forward. Just as the Scavenger entered a vast cavern, he saw hundreds of soldiers standing on the platforms built into the walls.

The Scavenger couldn’t move as red dots from enemy weapons started lining on his chest. Thankfully, the children, who had remained behind the Scavenger, hadn’t entered the scene. They hunkered down just behind the entrance, hidden from the sight of the enemy.

“Raise your hands!” a voice shouted at the Scavenger.

The Scavenger put his hands in the air and closed his eyes. He was ready for this eventuality. In a flash, he ducked his right hand backwards and took out his Lightning Sword.

Before the enemy could understand anything, a massive lightning strike hit from above. The platforms crumbled, and the cavern broke down.

“Get ready,” the Scavenger said to the children. “As soon as the dust settles, we will rush forward. Remember to turn on your invisibility circuit. Move very quickly, though carefully, and just follow me. We only have five minutes to pull this off.”

The children nodded in return.

As the dust covered the area, the Scavenger and the children activated the invisibility circuit of their FLICKs and ran forward.

At the front entrance, the Unicorn King and his army had driven off Osay’s soldiers from the mansions. They continued to advance further, and the war seemed to be turning more and more to their side.

But just when the Unicorn King thought this was it, Osay revealed his cards.

The walls flipped and sharp spikes protruded out from the Library walls. Hundreds of soldiers were standing behind the walls with bows and arrows.

The Unicorn King gritted his teeth. He immediately understood that it wouldn’t be as easy as he had thought.

The children and the Scavenger were invisible as they crossed the corridor. The enemy soldiers looked about frantically, waving their weapons about, but could not see any intruder.

Suddenly, their FLICKs started vibrating, signifying that only thirty seconds were left before they all would be visible.

The Scavenger now started to run, and the children followed. They need to get out of here to a secluded place in the next few seconds.

But there was no secluded place available. There were enemy soldiers everywhere.

Only ten seconds were left. They spotted an exit door on their left. They rushed with all their might and pushed the door open. 5... 4... 3... 2...

The Scavenger and the children exited the door into an empty corridor. They plastered themselves on the wall just in time, as their invisibility broke off.

They waited for a couple of minutes, ready to attack. However, nobody came out from the door.

“Oh my God! It was just in time. I hope no one noticed us,” the Scavenger said, turning to the children. “We can’t activate the invisibility circuit for another half-hour but use the camouflage property as many times as you want. Follow me. I know the way.”

The Scavenger led them through the maze of doors and corridors. Several times, they had to use their FLICK to camouflage themselves so as to prevent soldiers from seeing them.

The Scavenger stopped the group near the end of a corridor. The children peeked to see a group of guards outside a steel door.

“This is it,” the Scavenger said. “That’s the Rakezin.” He sighed. “This is the chamber where the ‘Book of the Universe’ is kept.”

He looked upwards into the air. “Matt, we are coming for you.”

Daniel whispered, “I don’t think Osay is so naive to leave such an important place with only a handful of guards.”

Archer pitched in, “Exactly! Are you sure this is the place?”

The Scavenger replied in whispers, “You can’t just enter the Rakezin by attacking the guards. You need special methods. Fortunately, I overheard them invisibly. I know how to enter it.”

James said, “Still fifteen minutes to go before the invisibility circuit can be activated. We need to just wait in silence.”

Everyone nodded.

Fifteen minutes later, they all activated the invisibility circuit and came out onto the corridors. They silently approached the guards.
