future was jeopardized entirely. She looked at Alexandra as she packed her stuff, as she left the classroom, tears swelled in her eyes as she was escorted to the Principal’s office by a hall monitor.

As she headed to the Principal’s office, her phone vibrated with a couple of texts from Alexandra, but she ignored them as she was told by the front desk that the Principal was gone to a meeting, so instead she was meeting her guidance counselor. She entered the guidance counselor office, sitting across was the woman in charge of her transcript, scheduling, admission letters, etc, her name was Rebecca Holland.

Trixie sat there in tears. She tried her best to resist the tears but couldn’t since the horrible truth of how the Superior-Beings extinct, she was so scared that it was gonna happen to her, she kept fretting over those thoughts. What’s gonna happen to me? Will I die or be extinct? Will the government take me away and do tests on me? Will they-?

Her hands were shaking with fear. Her thoughts were interrupted, when Miss Holland said aloud, “Tracy. Tracy. Are you okay hon?”

“What?” Trixie said stammering. She was sad and didn’t focus on what she said. Though she was worrying, deep down, there was something at the back of her mind, telling her not to worry. She could not quite put a finger on what it was. But that hidden thought or memory was referring to Mr. Universe promising her that she will not end up like the Superior-Beings. It was a voice deep in her mind. Very faint and exceptionally low. She could not tell if it was a buzzing sound or the air circulation in the room, it simply said; “Do not worry.”

Trixie stopped crying and after a minute of silence. She said; “Yes I am okay.”

“Alright, then,” Miss Holland spoke. “Why do you have rainbow colored hair in school? You know that is not allowed.”

“You wouldn’t understand,” Trixie crossed her arms and tried to look away as she spoke bluntly.

“Try me,” Miss Holland said.

“Well,” Trixie stammered, but decided not to tell her the full truth. “I did not purposefully

color my hair like this. I develop these colors as I deeply admire someone.”

“Really?” Miss Holland. “Waiting for you to admire me, I’m trying to help you out.”

Trixie tried to think deeply of admiring Miss Holland, the counselor, but it did not seem to work, since no new pastel color appeared. She knew immediately what was going to happen, she was going-

“Alright,” Miss Holland spoke firmly. “Giving you one last chance, why did you come to school with this colorful head of hair?”

Trixie could not tell her the full truth; she was still scared about the government potentially taking her away. She sat there staring at the guidance counselor who was furious, since she did not believe Trixie at all, even though barely a century ago, Superior-Beings literally existed.

“You will be suspended starting now,” Miss Holland stated. “I will notify Principal Elroy Bolan. Go home and we will be calling your parents shortly.”

Trixie sighed, she knew that this was bad, she was so in trouble. Not the fact that she got suspended, she knew it was going to happen, but the fact that her parents were gonna find out the truth about her, who she truly is. She picked her backpack and left. She saw Aiden, Luis, Allison and her sister Veronica all sitting in the main office waiting to see their counselors one by one, they were also called down to the office.

Some moments briefly before…

Luis, Allison, and Veronica were sitting in Advanced Functions class trying to focus without their abilities going out of whack. Allison was beginning to get a migraine due to the 3 to 5 thoughts that she had at the same time to be able to keep her ability and Veronica’s coldness all under control, while focusing on the mathematical equations being taught in class. Luis’s garbage bag was getting full, half of the class was complaining about their missing pens and pencils.

Mrs. Jones walked around the classroom as she felt a wave of coldness and heat at the same time, which confused her. As she walked past the students, she witnessed a garbage bag tied next to Luis, she confronted Luis a couple of minutes before the actual Advanced Functions class was beginning.

“What is that garbage bag for, Luis?” Mrs. Jones asked curiously.

“Eh…. gym clothes,” Luis lied while stuttering, as he tried to make sure the garbage bag wasn’t revealing its contents. But a hole ruptured at the bottom of it, causing pens and pencils to drop and rattle on the floor. Luis was using the same garbage bag from yesterday, so the sharpness of the pens and pencils caused the tearing of the holes to get bigger and bigger throughout. The entire class witnessed it as the sound of the pens and pencils falling onto the classroom floor and were curious about what was going on.

“Hey, that’s my pencil and pens!” the Trinity Guys along with half of the class all pointed at Luis’s garbage bag, saying that is where their missing pens and pencils went. Luis was embarrassed and tried to fake smile it, to make it look as if it was a magic trick that he pulled.

“Mind, explaining that Mr. Lockwood?” Mrs. Jones said in an aggressive firm tone.

“Eh…. I guess I pulled too much of my magic tricks,” Luis smiled and tried to hold it, thinking that excuse would work, but deep down he knew that he was definitely gonna get suspension.

“Alright, down to main office, now!” Mrs. Jones spoke furiously. “Everyone go get your pencils and pens back before class starts in a few minutes.”

Luis unfortunately walked out of the office and headed out; he knew that he was getting suspension immediately. Veronica and Allison watched
