spread her arms in excitement. As her arms and legs were spread out in excitement, her glasses floated away from her, but she did not bother, since she was in a relaxed mindset. She looked at her wristwatch seeing that it took her only 2 and a half minutes to make it up to the Exosphere. With the peaceful silence of space, she decided to stay in space for an entire 5 minutes of relaxation, just 5 minutes, she thought. The blue planet full of the green land and clouds covering it, attracted Sandra a lot, with the beautiful details of the planet Earth and especially the stars surrounding her, in peaceful silence. It was something she could not let go of.

Pure dead silence. Blackness of space. Floating freely. No problems from Earth.

She positioned herself in a lying down position with the Earth beneath her, acting like a bed as she looked up at the stars as her glasses floated away. This was the most amazing star gazing experience that she ever had, getting remarkably close to the stars and having the silence of space. She looked down and saw the big beautiful Earth lay there out in the open, it was vast and big, and the curvature was visible to her naked eye, due to the altitude she was at, which was over a hundred kilometers away from the ground.

Looking at her watch, her 5 minutes in space were up. She wanted to go back to school and get the prismatic cube as soon as possible before somebody else found it. She starts to fly back into the atmosphere of the Earth with the acceleration of gravity applying to her. She was flying towards the United States. She took her time to find Pennsylvania state, getting back to seeing New York alongside Pennsylvania and Toronto, Canada, as she decreased her altitude overtime. She looked at her watch noting that she still had about 30 minutes of lunch break left, which was good, since she wanted to make it back to class on time.

After another few minutes she found Allentown high up from the sky and could see the school and its property, as she decreased her altitude, flying back towards the soccer field she came from. She slowly landed on the grass with her bare feet touching the coarse and fine material mixed with grass. As she went to look for her shoes, she found the cube and saw that it was still just a prismatic black marble white streaked cube. She found her slippers and looked at her watch, showing that she only had 15 minutes left for her classes to resume, since she spent time sightseeing the land of Earth for a while.

As she rushed to the school, she witnessed crowds of students leaving the school, she was wondering what was going on. She looked at her watch which showed it was just past noon, meaning lunch break was supposed to end anytime soon. But why were the kids in the school all heading out suddenly? She rushed towards the school as she got inside seeing kids filling up the hallways, as they were exiting the school.

She wearily and worriedly looked around on what was going on, she looked at the clock in the hallway which was striking near 3 pm, around 2:45 pm that school was ending. She looked at her watch, but it was still saying 12:15 pm, she was utterly confused on what was going on. Was it her watch or did she really time travel unknowingly, about 2 hours and 30 minutes ahead? Pulling her phone out, she saw the time for the Pennsylvania time zone changed to 2:46 pm as a minute passed by, she could not believe that the 5 minutes she spent in space turned out to be 2 hours and 30 minutes on Earth.

“No no no no,” Sandra said in an annoyed and dumbfounded tone. “I can’t be late for class. It was just 5 minutes up in space. 5 minutes. WAIT-.”

She thought in her mind; How could I be so stupid, time on Earth passes faster as you spent time in Space. She felt very clumsy and dumb for not considering this fact. She sighed heavily but this time with sound and oxygen, as she headed towards her locker to get her backpack and head home. She was so sad that her perfect attendance was ruined for the school year and for all of her high school years. She headed home heavy with disappointment for missing 2 classes and about 1/8 of the whole day.

Chapter 4

Attack

Date: September 11th, 2020

Sheer disappointment was all over Sandra for missing the last 2 classes she was supposed to attend yesterday, all just because of her space journey. Luckily, she had an extraordinarily strong attendance record throughout the entire previous high school years. She began to prepare for her student candidacy speech as she heads to the gym lockers to hide the prismatic cube away from sight. She examined the cube more closely one last time, even though after school yesterday, she could not get anything out of the cube at all, even after that mysterious white light striking it and her. What was that mysterious white invisible light, where did it come from? Why did it get attracted to the cube suddenly? Is this how she got her powers and abilities? Was she a Superior-Being? If not, then what was she?

As lunch break was about to begin, she was excused by the teacher to leave class 10 minutes early, since she had to go prepare for her assembly speech. She headed towards the gymnasium but stopped at the lockers, to change in something formal for the speech. Slammed the gym locker of hers and locked the prismatic cube in there, while getting dressed formally for the assembly. She was not the only one to give a speech, a
