boy,” Jack sighed heavily. “Just make sure we don’t die!”

“Alright,” Jay said in a firm tone, as he flew towards the mothership higher and higher in the sky, crossing the Upper Bays and passing by Liberty Island. Jack vaguely saw more futuristic militants invading Liberty Island itself, a few individuals fighting against the militants. With increased speed and thrust, the Sparrow ignited another set of blue fiery plasma blast as it boosted the air vehicle’s momentum.

Jay turned his attention away from the sky to Jack and asked; “What’s the plan now?” As Jay turns his head back to viewing the sky, another Sparrow closed in on him. Jay reacted with his hands suddenly twisting the controls around, making his Sparrow twist in a barrel roll to dodge the other one, as Jack got concerned. Jay also witnessed a purple, pink fiery figure flying in the sky, he could see that it was a girl using her glass wings to fight off against the other Sparrows.

“Close call,” Jay spoke. “Sorry, that other Sparrow almost hit us. Who was that in the sky?”

“I don’t know,” Jack said. “Probably a Stellar-Being fighting against this invasion, at least she is not attacking New York itself.”

“Good point,” Jay stated. “Anyway, what are we supposed to do now with this invasion?”

Jack saw the Planetarium Traveler X1 going over the Upper Bays of New York as it was generating a holographic bridge towards the Freighter. The blue energised holographic bridge connecting to both ships was illuminating with white outer edges of light generated, with a blue ray shield as the surface. As Jack witnessed it, he saw more of those AI militants crossing the bridge to get towards the Freighter, which gave him an idea.

“We gotta get to that Freighter,” Jack said. “Infiltrate it and destroy it.”

“You mean sabotage the barracks?” Jay asked.

“Yes,” Jack answered. “We gotta stop this invasion before Silver Ny succeeds!”

“Agreed,” Jay stated. “There has to be a shutoff switch for these AI powered militants, probably on the mothership.”

“Yeah, there has to be,” Jack spoke. “Head to the Freighter now.”

As the Sparrow began to accelerate with its fiery blue plasmatic blast, Jay maneuvered the air vehicle towards the Freighter rather than the Planetarium Traveler X1, the mothership. He thought, when was this invasion going to end? Where is Silver Ny now, there was no sign of him. Jay thought that he must be on the mothership, but many questions began rambling into his mind. Who was that clock headed figure who took some quantum energy out of Jay? Will his timeline 2999 change with Kimon, Silver Ny, etc not being in 2999? He thought deeply as he controlled the Sparrow, wondering what happened to Yukama Kimon, did he die, was he trapped in the time wormhole forever?

“Jay we gotta talk about what happened back in the Planetarium Traveler before we arrived in this timeline,” Jack asked. “What happened in that room with you, Silver Ny and that mysterious clock-man? What happened to Kimon? Is he dead?”

“Silver Ny extracted quantum energy out of me,” Jay said. “He was trying to power his suit in attempt to time travel to this timeline and win the invasion of taking over Earth against Kimon, other than that. I do not know what the hell is going on. As for Kimon, I do not know. We will discuss this later, alright?”

“Damn, that doesn’t sound good,” Jack said. “Alright, first thing’s first, get to that Freighter.”

Two Birds, One Sky

Date: June 26th, 2021 – 8:35 AM

Fire power after fire power, blue fiery blasts of plasma firepower began to shoot towards Roxanne as she was flying and gliding with her reflected pink, purple glass wings while using shadow manipulative powers to destroy the Sparrows in the sky. Energy blast upon energy blast being generated by her hands towards the Sparrows, Roxanne panted with sweat beads in her long silky brunette hair that was a fiery purple aura surrounding her as she flew towards the mothership in an attempt to stop the invasion.

Sparrow after Sparrow surrounded her. She was a hundred meters above the Upper Bays of NYC, as she stood floating in the sky about to get shot down. Roxanne steadily rotated herself in a 360-degree rotation with the pink, purple glass cells of her wings shooting like sharp projectiles towards the Sparrows around her which was quite effective. The glassy projectiles penetrated through the Sparrow’s glass dome where the pilot and the gunner were sitting, but eventually the self repairing glass broke off her glass projectiles. The other projectiles hit the engine and other parts of the Sparrows, which was more effective, damaging it but did not result in destroying any of them.

Roxanne was not a fan of her powers and abilities, she really despised purple mainly, but she liked the pink aspect of it. Deep down her favorite flower was a Lilac, which was probably why she got purple colored essence of her powers along with the shade of pink shadowed within it. She in New York City for her education, despite it being very expensive, she managed to pay off most of it due to scholarships she obtained due to her high averages. She maybe the smartest out of all her sisters but in terms of socializing, she tended to get too condescending with family and friends.

The invasion was happening way too fast for her to react, as she felt a push of wind pass by her as she witnessed a Sparrow heading the opposite direction as another one was closing in on her. She looked at the Sparrow heading towards the mothership, as she witnessed two teenaged boys in the air vehicle as another Sparrow almost hit them, she wondered what the heck was going on in this invasion. As that Sparrow with the mysterious boys in it passed by her after doing a
