breath, I attempted to get air into my head and ended up inhaling the scent of her perfume.

"Stop it Amanda. Rachel isn't making me break up with you. Rachel doesn't even know that I'm here let alone what I'm here to talk to you about. I can think for myself and don't need you to control me," I responded, trying to keep my voice steady, only to end up sounding hoarse for most of the words.

Amanda's expression altered, the lines in her face tightened, her eyes almost twitched. I didn't think she was used to people breaking up with her, I think I remember Mark warning me that she had never been the one to be dumped, but she was the one that liked to crush others. My gut just felt upside down with the thought of being in a relationship with Amanda while Rachel and I were in this mess. It felt awkward to go out with one girl and go home to another. A calm sense passed over her face. Amanda must have changed her plans. I always had to keep my wits finely tuned when I was around her.

"But you can't break up with me! We care for each other and this weird marriage can't break us up because we aren't really married. A marriage has some love and has a strong physical attraction. We have that," Amanda whispered, giving sad puppy eyes as she stroked my face. "Come to my house. Kevin's at practice and we could be alone, just the two of us."

It was getting harder by the second to not tilt into her touches, to keep my mind clear when I knew what her body against mine felt like. What her lips were capable of with mine.

"It can be like old times when we were alone in my house," Amanda continued, pressing her chest against mine all the while her hands were still on me.

Amanda's words were like a Siren's song of love. Hypnotizing me in passion with her dragging me to the disaster of what was our relationship. Of what would hurt Rachel. It was too late to turn back though. My body was relaxing against her with fog rolling into my mind. I could sense that, no matter how hard I tried, the only choice was to move onward into the storm as she pulled me in even further. I could only hope for the best at this point.

Amanda had her arms around my neck and gently brushed her lips against mine. Soft as a sigh she pressed her lips against mine while having her arms wrapped around my neck. Without realizing my motions my own arms roped around her till her skin was against my bared arms that were exposed by my t-shirt. Amanda's warm tongue slipped against my lip, and our tongues met with heavy lust as her hand dove into my hair. Our bodies were reacting off what they knew from all the other times. I could feel the skin of her hip under one of my palms while the other was behind her head. Her dark hair was interwoven in my fingers.

Dings filled my ears, pulling some of my focus away from the lips pulling me in the other direction. Rain. The rainfall above us picked up speed. Laughter mixed with the rain and with my eyes still closed I could see Rachel twirling and giggling in the rain from the other night. My sweatshirt that was too big for her fanned out around her as she spun, and the rain was darkening her hair and the fabric she wore. I was laughing as I ran after her, my umbrella was still clenched in my grip on my side. Wrapping my arms around her, bringing her close to me so that our wet clothes stuck together, my face against her smooth neck as we tumbled onto the mud; Rachel didn't care if she was covered in mud or if there was a chance that her clothes were ruined, but rather she seemed to have been enjoying the moment for what it was, a carefree amusement.

My eyes burst open and I pushed Amanda away from me. Her eyes were wide and her lips were swollen as she stood against my locker.

"We're broken up so you'll leave Rachel and me alone," I growled.

I ran out of the school and towards our homes through the rain, not even bothering to glance over my shoulder to see Amanda's reaction. I did not hear her yell out for me if she did. My coat was still in my locker, but I didn't care as I quickly scanned into the gated area. Running though the rows of wet cottages, my feet splashed through puddles until I arrived at our little blue cottage. There I just stood feeling the rain drip down my body and I finally understood what Rachel was talking about. The freedom was literally pouring down on me.

Taking long strides I made my way to our door. My hands slid into my pockets for the house key, but my pockets were empty except for my id. I really needed to start carrying my key. I did not even see why she bothered locking the door here. Who was going to break in, we didn't have any valuables. We also had a large fence around us. No harm could come to us. Leaning over I peeked into the window and noticed Rachel was curled up on the couch writing in one of her binders. I banged on the door for her to answer. When the door swung open green eyes locked onto my blue ones. She stood in the wide open doorway in her pajamas. My hair was wet and hanging near my eyes making things a little hard to see.

Rachel opened her light pink lips slightly I pulled her out into the rain with me. Rachel gasped as I held her by her waist and planted my lips on her un-expecting mouth.
