coming over was to get Meng Lei to help.

“Let’s go then!”

The trio arrived at Light Continent in no time and found the group of Light Church higher management officers that Ol’ Amos had subdued.

Of course, calling them the Light Church officers was no longer appropriate now. Rather, it should be the Kroc Holy Sect instead.

“Greetings, Great God Kroc!”

The Kroc Holy Sect higher management officers, who were led by the 108 half-deities, bowed respectfully in greeting.

“You may rise!”

Ol’ Amos waved dismissively. A look of satisfaction couldn’t help but come over his features as he gazed at a 100-feet-tall statue in the shrine. Stern and imposing-looking, it was exactly a statue of him.

Ol’ Amos went straight to the point. He asked, “Tell me, what’s going on with the space-time rift that suddenly appeared?”

“O noble Great God Kroc,” a Red-Cloaked Archbishop half-deity replied respectfully, “That space-time rift has already existed before this. It has been around for at least 50,000-odd years, but because it has been sealed by the Light Church all this time, nothing has ever happened until a few days ago.”

“What happened after that?”

Ol’ Amos frowned lightly.

“Someone broke the seal!”

“Someone broke the seal?”

Ol’ Amos broke into a slight frown.

“Yes, noble Great God Kroc. The sealing magic circle showed clear signs of tampering, so someone must have broken the seal on their own,” answered the Red-Cloaked Archbishop respectfully.

Ol’ Amos barked coldly, “Have you found the culprit yet?”

Light Continent was his turf. Anyone that dared to create trouble in Light Continent would be going against him.

“At the moment, we haven’t found out who the culprit that broke the seal is yet, noble Great God Kroc.”

Then, the Red-Cloaked Archbishop added fearfully, “But we’re guessing that it’s likely the seven true gods that had previously fled. They are the most suspicious candidates.”

“Those seven fellows?”

Ol’ Amos’ eyes narrowed slightly. He turned to Meng Lei and asked, “Meng Lei, are you able to locate them?”

“Let me try!”

Meng Lei nodded slightly. His divine cognition spread into the surroundings and enveloped the whole Light Continent in no time. The forms of various people flitted by in his mind...

A brief moment later, Meng Lei said, “There are only three true gods in Light Continent at the moment. The other four’s whereabouts are unknown. I can’t find traces of them even in the whole existential plane. They must have already left.”

“Could it really be the four of them?”

Ol’ Amos had an awful look on his countenance.

“It’s actually not important whether or not they are really the culprits.”

A smiling Meng Lei said, “The most pressing issue now is to seal the space-time rift, or alternatively, you might as well eradicate the demons on the other end of the space-time rift. Everything else isn’t that important.”

Eradicate the demons on the other end of the space-time rift?

All the Kroc Holy Sect higher management officers shuddered all over upon hearing his suggestion. After all, no one knew exactly what the demon existential plane was like on the other end of the space-time rift.

However, one could already catch a glimpse or two about the big picture from the demons that had come out of the rift. Judging from those demons, the demon existential plane on the other end must be an extremely fearsome demonic world—because even the weakest of the demons that had emerged from the rift was a Demon Overlord!

Demon Overlords were comparable to Heaven’s Vault Continent’s half-deities. How strong and powerful must a world whose basic lifeforms were Demon Overlords be?

It was unimaginable!

In short, the world on the other end of the space-time rift must be an extremely strong and fearsome one. Eradicating all the demons on the existential plane there?

They dared not even entertain the thought!

Ol’ Amos, however, was extremely in favor of the suggestion. He said, “You’re right. The most pressing issue now is indeed to reseal that space-time rift.”

“Let’s go, then!”

Meng Lei brought along with him everyone present and vanished from where he was. By the time they’d reappeared, they had already arrived in front of a bottomless ravine.

“This is... The Demon Ravine?”

At the sight of the pitch-dark ravine that one couldn’t even see to the bottom of in front of them, blood drained from all the Kroc Holy Sect higher management officers’ faces. Deep reverence filled their eyes as they gazed at Meng Lei.

They had been on the Holy Kroc Mountain just a moment ago, yet they were actually at the Demon Ravine now!

One was right in the center of Light Continent while the other was in the west of Light Continent. A distance of more than a million kilometers laid between the two.

Yet he had crossed a million kilometers with them in tow with just a single teleport? How impressive were his means?

“So, is this where that space-time rift is?”

Ol’ Amos overlooked the pitch-dark Demon Ravine and asked gravely. To be honest, he didn’t actually need to ask because he could also sense a strong demonic aura coming from the ravine’s depths.

“This is the Demon Ravine, Great God Kroc. That space-time rift is located in the depths of the ravine. This is exactly where the demons came out of.”

The same Red-Cloaked Archbishop said respectfully, “To prevent a large-scale surge of demons from the rift, we’ve deployed a great amount of manpower within the Demon Ravine’s vicinity. There they are!”

Ol’ Amos looked over upon hearing his words. True enough, he spotted large numbers of Knights of Light in the ravine’s vicinity. Among them were even a fair number of half-deities and Saint Domain experts. All of them were stationed within the vicinity of Demon Ravine.

“Greetings, noble Great God Kroc!”

A Red-Cloaked Archbishop stationed here flew over and bowed
