«Чтобы следовать за Христом, нам не нужно ждать, пока мы будем переселены. Божьи дети могут сделать это здесь, на этой земле. Мы последуем за Агнцем Божьим в горние чертоги, только если станем Его последователями здесь, на земле. Следование за Ним на небе зависит от нашего соблюдения Его заповедей здесь и сейчас. Мы не должны следовать за Христом, повинуясь своим капризам или порывам, только когда это сулит нам какие–то преимущества.

Мы должны сделать выбор и стать Его последователями. В повседневной жизни нам необходимо следовать Его примеру подобно тому, как стадо доверчиво идет за своим пастухом. Мы должны следовать за Ним, страдая за Него и говоря на каждом шагу: „Хотя Он поражает меня, буду уповать на Него'. Его жизнь должна стать нашей жизнью. И когда мы будем таким образом стремиться уподобиться Ему и приводить свою человеческую волю в соответствие с Его волей, мы начнем являть Его миру»
