Ignoring the scene, I fix the shorts bar and turn towards the exit. I wouldn't like to stay, knowing Ryder was there to ruin my night. Leaving the club, I take a cab and head for Six. It was my night off and I could have fun without being disturbed. I had friends there and they could take me home if I drank too much. Going to the bar, I sit on one of the stools and have a chat with Janete. She was the barwoman of the night, while two boys served the dance floor. I ask for a dose of tequila and I turn around like they taught me the first time they served me a drink. I start dancing on the dance floor, just the more electronic songs and reveal myself among the drinks. Some people get excited about my animation and then dance with me. They follow me to the bar and we start a betting game. Time goes by without me noticing. I was already in my eighth round when a pair of strong hands held my arm and pulled me to a corner further away from the bar.
- Hey, kitty!
I smile when I recognize one of the Lounge fighters. I had no idea how he got there, but I liked seeing Remy. At least he wasn't a danger.
- Hey, Remy! - I say shaking his hand. - Shouldn't you be in a cage?
- No, that night I just decided to have a little fun. - he says with a smile on his side. - I didn't know the blonde danced and didn't even drink like that. I like women who know how to have fun.
Remy was taller and had more muscles in his body than I'd ever seen before. His disheveled hair was fire-colored and he had green eyes so bright, they looked like they were made of glass. Tribals covered both arms, which were exposed under the sleeveless shirt.
- Are you alone here? - he asks looking excited.
I sigh, remembering the confusion I've already caused by acting impulsively... I just wanted to distract myself and even a guy as nice as Remy wasn't part of my repertoire that night. My idea was to drink and dance.
- Look, Remy! You seem like a really nice guy, but I'm not interested in talking to anyone tonight. - I say smiling. - I'm sorry, but all I want is to drink and dance. If you don't mind, I'd like to stay as I was before you showed up.
- Pull! You're straightforward and very honest. - he says surprisingly. - Of course, I can leave you alone to have fun alone.
- Thank you!
- That's nothing, baby! - says he turns and crosses the dance floor, leaving on top of another girl.
I'll drop a laugh. Until it was easy, I just hoped I wouldn't be disturbed by anyone else. Turning the track, I dance for a while longer and then return to the bar. I was in my fifth round, already dizzy from so much tequila. My mind was clouded and I saw it all spinning.
- What the fuck do you think you're doing?
I look away to see Ryder standing there and staring at me with an angry look.
- Ryder? What are you doing here?
- It doesn't matter what I'm doing here! - he says rough. - It gave me a fucking job to find you, after I called Jane and she said you weren't there.
He's making me bow my eyebrow. Taking the bottle, I'll pour myself another shot.
- Look, I have no idea who called you two here, but... - I mean trying to focus on the two figures in front of me - Know that I don't need a drool.
Ryder looks from side to side with his frown and smiles in a funny way.
- It may be, but the way you're acting like a kid, you deserve a beating. - he says approaching. - I'm taking her home.
- No! I'm right here and I'm having a great time. - I say sarcastically and fill another glass. - Why don't you go back to your blonde?
I hold my breath when Ryder grabs the sides of the seat, holding me between his arms and the counter.
- I'm trying, but she's determined to put her life and reputation at risk just to piss me off.
I swallow dry when he rubs his lips against mine, but he won't kiss me. Ryder's gaze was penetrating and determined. He grabs my wrist and pulls me out of the seat.
- You're coming with me, whether you like it or not! - he says holding my wrist steady and dragging me out of the club.
- Ryder let me go! - I ask you to try to let go of my arms. - If you don't let go of me, you and your twin brother will get along very badly!
Ryder didn't listen to me. Instead, he let out a laugh and grabbed me by the legs, putting me over his shoulders.
- Ryder! Are you crazy? Put me down! - I order scared. - Now!
I yell at his back, but he just slaps me on the ass.
- No! Now you'll hear it, even if it's tied up!
My stomach turns on account of the doses of drink and I go into despair because of the craving for vomit.
- Ryder, it's serious! If you don't put me down now... - I'll make a face stopping to breathe. - I swear I'll throw up on your back!
I hear when he grunts and sighs with concern. Ryder takes me to the alley where
