The two wolves in front of Leon charged at him. They both simultaneously jumped, and Leon leaped in the air and grabbed the brown wolf by the throat in mid-air. In the process, Leon also managed to slash quickly and scratched the other wolf's left eye, blinding him successfully. Leon slammed the brown wolf on the ground and snapped his head. The third wolf didn't spend any time and lunged on him, but Leon twisted his body, pinned the ash-colored wolf on to the ground, cracked his hind leg, and then tore the wolf's throat out.
Just in time, Leon turned his attention to save Carl, his little brother from being mauled to death. Leon jumped in front of him and knocked the wolves out of his way.
"You okay, brother?" Leon asked Carl.
"I was handling myself. I don't need your help." He braked and then went away. Leon shook his head and smirked, "Idiot."
Few more came, and Leon with his pack, fought bravely, killing wolves right and left. Leon focused on fighting the wolves that came his way. Then two wolves circled Leon, isolating him away from the rest. Leon fought back as hard as he could, and as he fought when Leon's back had turned away, a knife washed with silver, and wolfsbane pierced into him. Leon howled with pain. Rouges pounced on him to the ground and began attacking, but Leon kept fighting them off of him, his beautiful black and white fur soaked in blood that was also trickling down his coat.
Leon quickly realized he was the main target; this was not just a random rogue attack. It was planned, but why? More importantly, who?
Leon shifted back to his human form and whirled around to see—and he found out his own trusted member betrayed him. He was holding a knife in his hand, looking straight at Leo with great satisfaction of revenge.
"Why brother? Why did you do it?" Leo staggered to his feet, holding his wound.
"It's your fault, you made me do this, so I did what I had to do?" Carl shrugged and then laughed viciously.
"Alpha, Alpha. Alpha. Alpha." He chanted like madmen, then threw a punch at Leo. Leo flew away a few yards in the dirt.
"Brother..." Though Leo was getting angry, he tried to be civil. "Why?" he asked once again.
"Why? Why, you ask?" Carl's nostrils flared with anger and walked towards him. Leo struggled and got up, but Carl placed his foot on Leo's chest and rubbed on it. Leo's cry gave Carl an internal satisfaction. He crouched down low.
"Because I'll be crowned as King Alpha when you die. I'll rule. Simple." He shrugged.
"I'll present your dead body to your poor parents and then arrest them and throw them into a cell—sentences for life." His eyes were burning with hatred and greed.
Carl stood up so he could see Leo's struggle as Leo was trying to get up. His grin only grew more menacing. He jabbed his foot into Leo's stomach, hitting him quite a few times, then stomping on his wound like a thrown away cigarette on the ground, crushing his ribs into pieces.
Jeremiah and Mickey, were as well crumbled by the betrayal. They were purposely distracted by vicious rogues that kept coming in their way, preventing them from helping Leo.
"As far as your pathetic mate is, I'm going to put her in a dungeon, and you know what happens in the dungeon? and what pleasures me?" Carl had a predatory smile on his face.
After listening to that, Leon's temper soared.
"I'll make her my whore."
Leo's blood boiled. His eyes glowed with rage, and something else, inside him, awakes.
Leo was a human form, six feet tall; Leon—his wolf form, nine feet tall.
Then, there was another maleficent form—
AND THEN
Shaking the earth and pounding the eardrums with his growl.
It was gradually growing big up to twelve feet tall, standing on his two strong muscular legs, sturdily built, partially covered with sleeked, short, fine soft hair. A half-man, a half-wolf, Leo had transformed himself into a metamorphosed Lycans, named Theo.
Leo was the rare genetic, one of a kind creature, born evidence on the earth, and in the history of the werewolf. Theo raised his head into the air and let out another thunderous roar. The sound caused all the wolves to cease, froze on the spot, all eyes shocked in terror, staring at his unique form. Scared of his confidence that grew into the arrogance rage, some ran away with their tails between their legs. Carl's eyes remain wide open, his mouth ajar. He just witnessed what was the myth.
"You think I'm scared of you, don't you underestimate me. I've troops of rogues. I have got the powers. I'd never bow my head for you and DON'T ever call me your brother." His words were sharp-tasting bitter. Both Leo and Leon hurt on his derogatory insult.
Carl is blinded by greed and hatred. He had forgotten the values of his own family, the nurturing care he'd received from his mother, the protective hugs from his father, the love from his brother. He doesn't want to recognize the relationship anymore.
"You took everything away from me!" Carl snarled. "Noble-born. You got the attention and love from our parents, regards from elders, and received recognition as Alpha of the great Iron Moon Pack. I'm not going to bow my head in front of you." He hissed, exposing his fangs.
"LEAVE. NOW!!!." Theo screamed, thus warning him of danger, giving a second chance, to live—to runaway. Deep down, Carl was still his little brother. Even though the wild beast—they kill, chew, and tear apart like a piece of meat. He didn't want to harm his brother or worst—kill him.
Carl makes a jump launching over on the wolfman, snarling the words "I hate you," throwing punches at him. The wolfman tries hard to suppress his anger. Leo was trying to understand why his little brother hated him so much? Why did he have so much
