"Leo?" I called this time a little louder. I took his hand in mine.
Nothing.
My heart cracked, seeing him like this—powerless.
"Leo..." Tears were streaming down my eyes.
Still, nothing, my Leo was sleeping and breathing, but no movement.
"Please, please wake up," I begged, sobbing uncontrollably against him. I slowly climbed into the bed, carefully watching for the tubes and wires connected to him, and I laid beside Leo's unconscious body. I placed a small kiss on his temple, there was a wound and dried blood, but I didn't care at all, then gently placing my head on his chest, listening to his beating heart, and putting my arm across his chest.
The only sound of constant beeping of the heart monitor filled the room. In this silence, all the evil thoughts began to fog my brain, hurting my heart even deep.
"Don't leave me, Leo, I've got no one besides you. You're my everything, so you've to come back to me." I cried, holding on to him tenderly and continued to sob.

I don't remember when I'd dozed off—slowly opening my eyes. I found my head was still on his chest. My fingers were clenched tightly around his body. I wasn't going to move ever, I decided.
I lifted my head and stared at his face. He was still not awake.
"Leo," I whispered his name, of course, I got no answer as he laid there still and unresponsive. My strength and stability seemed to dissipate by the moment with worry.
"I miss you, Leo." I leaned down to peck another kiss on his forehead when I noticed something different, a change—a magical change that had happened. I gasped, confused. I couldn't believe my eyes on what I saw, what I witnessed.
There was a wound on Leo's temple, I remembered it very clearly when I placed a kiss there, I swear, but now it was gone, it'd healed.
'How?'
I caressed my thumb on the same spot that had healed.
'Can that happen? Was I delusional?'
I thought to experiment, a test, to see if it was real. I leaned down and kissed another wound on Leo's face and waited for the miracle to happen. The second turned to minutes, the wait seemed interminable and was nothing happening.
I sighed and gazed at him instead. He was a remarkably handsome man, from the moment he noticed me, he saw me. I was attracted to this blue-eyed man.
I heard a faint murmur of voices outside, behind the closed door. I slowly made my way to the door. I could listen to a male voice; it was deep and sounded just like Leo. I slowly cracked open the door and found Jedrek standing next to a tall man showing high strength, giving out his authority presence. He looked my way.
"You must be Aries." He said, taking the few strides towards me.
I nodded and opened the door fully.
"I'm Xander, Leo's father, and my wife, Nora." He introduced himself and gestured his hand to the tall, dark-haired woman standing behind him. She came into view, she was beautiful, her eyes were blue, just like mine and Leo's.
No doubt, Leo's great features resembled his father. He showed dominance, and his presence demanded respect. I bowed to show my respect to both of them, then stood straight up again.
He enveloped me in a hug, it felt nice, as if I was hugging my own father. I was a little taken aback by his action. But it was an amazing feeling. I had never received a hug like this in my life.
"Only you can help bring my son back, Aries." He said and pulled back. His grey eyes were filled with tears. He was crying, crying for his son, who was lying on that bed, lifeless. That made me shed my own tears.
"Aries," Nora looked at me, her face looking completely shocked. I watched her step towards me. Her arms came and wrapped around me, and her warm hug instantly made me feel loved. I missed my Mom. I miss Leo so much. I hugged her back and buried my face, crying on her chest, pouring my emotions. I was only Leo's lover, but they were his parents. They were beyond concerned about their only child, who was resting motionless.
"Help my son, Aries, and only you could do this." She whimpered, slowly pulling away from me. The tears began to streak down her face too.
'They knew me? Did Leo talk to them about me?'
But I couldn't understand how everyone proclaimed and emphasized something almost intangible. Jedrek to Leo's parents to assume, I'll fulfill their high expectations.
'How was I going to help Leo to get better or even healed?'
It caused my heart to beat frantically fast. I was scared.
I ran inside the room and closed the door, and began to pace in the room. I sat on the chair, then immediately stood up and walked a few paces then leaned at the wall starting at the place, the wall had split colored—half-painted grey and half ivory. Both colors were depressing. But the window displayed the afternoon sun shining brightly, though the outside air was a bit chilly.
I looked down and saw I had no shoes on. When Jedrek broke the news to me, I just walked out of the house with no shoes, cellphones, or informing Skye and Judin.
A knock came on the door. I stood straight and opened the door.
An older woman, her hair slicked back in a bun, slightly wrinkles on her face, wearing a figure-hugging black dress, in her red pencil-thin heel pumps, standing at the threshold, smiling.
"Hello Aries, I'd told you we'd meet soon."
'Who?'
She walked into the room with a dominating, yet graceful strides.
"This was not how I'd imagine our first meeting would be." She stood at the edge of Leo's bed. "But it was time for us to meet." She looked down at Leo's face and gave out a very appreciative smile.
"I'm sorry, but who are you?" I asked her.
"I'm Leo's Great, Great Grandmother. Everyone calls me GG." She
