said politely.

'Great, great? Grandmother?' Wait. Did she add the other great in there—intentionally or mistakenly?'

"I'm also the one who sent you those texts." She said. And my eyes went wide. 'The mystery person.' The one who said I should stay away from Leo.

"Get out!" I don't usually yell or shout. I was taught well, respect the elders, and love the young ones. I could be civil about it, but my emotions were starting to give way.

"If you think you're here to tell me to stay away from Leo, then you're wrong. I won't, and I'll never leave Leo." I told her as I grip the door tightly, so I can slam the door behind her when she leaves.

She turned around, an amused grin lacing her lips. She made herself comfortable at the comfy armless chair at the bedside and folded one leg over the other.

"You're always been very obedient as a child, but now you've discovered your rebellious streak and courage. I must say I'm very impressed." When she spoke, there was an unusual air of self-confidence and superiority, surrounded by her, but I was too angry with her.

"Yes, I was the one who sent out the text to you to stay away from Leo," she confirmed.

"Why?"

"Because you're a stubborn child. It was a common practice, nothing against your love."

"So, you manipulated me and tried to divert my mind."

"It's called child psychology." She rolled her eyes.

"You tell a child, don't do it, and it does the exact opposite. You wanted to run away, and it has always been your plan. You were even ready to break Leo's heart for your freedom." She waved her fingers in the air, and two coins appeared, they were floating in mid-air.

"Leo was worried and told me about you." She waved at them, flipped up to the ceiling, and then came down but remained in the air. I was only amazed.

'Was she a magician? or a Psychic?'

"Goddess!" She exclaimed, breaking my dazed.

"What?" I asked her.

She read my confused face, "Your bond with Leo, it's powerful, meant to be, but it's not that easy. Something or rather someone is coming, and it will bring a dynamic change factor. Whatever that is going to unfold between you two is going to be a lot dependent on him.

But it's an essential change in the relationship factor. There are still a few steps to figure out what's going to happen, and there is something very energizing and supportive of your soul." She grabbed both coins that were dancing in the air.

"You... lost me." It was a lot to take in, and honestly, I didn't understand any part of it. She chuckled and stood up and straightened her dress, then walked over to me and said, "I know. Just try to wake him up. It's time." She instructed.

I gave her a nod without even realizing it.

"Oh, and Aries, Leo, is a boon to your life... beyond a shadow of a doubt."

That made me smile, and I peeked at Leo at his beautiful face, and when I went to see her again, there was no one standing there. She was gone. The strangest thing was that she never used the door to leave—she vanished into thin air.

CHAPTER 13

Paranormal things were happening so randomly that nothing made sense. I felt like I was falling into a never-ending rabbit hole. I began to feel I was starting to lose my sanity very fast, or maybe it's a dream, and I'll wake up soon in realizing it. But Leo's pale face brought back the harsh reality.

"Who are you, Leo?" I murmured, "and what are you?" I stared at him.

"I need to sit down," I said to myself and took a seat on the same chair where GG was sitting earlier, I realized I never even asked her name or who she was? I sighed heavily and closed my eyes for a moment to relieve the stress that was lingering in the air with so many new details and questions.

I got out of the chair and walked to Leo's bed. Tears began to well in my eyes as I stared down at him. I bent down and cupped his face in my hands.

"It's becoming tough not hearing your voice, you know. I cannot bear seeing you like this, Leo. I like it when you're smiling and happy. This quietness does not suit you. Please wake up."

Still no response.

I just sat next to him, for a few moments, twiddling with my fingers in my lap, my mouth silent, my mind thinking, so many random things were coming to my mind.

"I don't know if you can hear me," I took a brief moment to wipe my eyes and to steady my shaky voice.

"I thought of running away from the life I was living before I met you, and the things I'd to do. And now I can't imagine escaping from you, even if I wanted to, you silly goose." I smiled at my childish idiom and peeked at him. If he was awake and listening, I'm sure he would have chuckled at that too.

"So what I wanted to say to you is that I'm not going to run away. I want to stay here with you."

'I think I've fallen for you.'

My smile dissolved when I saw him still resting.

The feeling of dread washed over me as tears filled my eyes again.

"Please wake up," I said. "Your family needs you, Leo," my heart fluttering nervously. "And I need you too. I can't live without you, Leo." I added.

Somewhere in my heart, for a moment there, I thought he was listening to me.

"Frankly, it's easy to talk with you in this state, and I know I'm taking disadvantage of your defenseless condition to make this confession."

The sweet words were making their way from my heart to my lips. I rested my hand over his chest.

"I want to stay in your heart, Leo."

"I-I have fallen in love with you, Leo." I was expecting Leo's arms to come
