around me, but—. "I only belong to you. My heart, my soul, my body, is only for you."

"I Love You, Leo. I love you so much." I whispered those three words in his ear, crawled closer to him, laid beside him, and planted a kiss on his heart.

Though there was no response from him, I still hoped he heard me. Before going back to lay down on him, I gazed at his handsome face, the teardrops from my eyes fell and seeped through the white sheet.

My fingers were aimlessly drawing some figures on his chest. Eye closed, just taking my time to enjoy his pleasant scent.

Then.

Suddenly.

Leo's body quaked.

Startled by his action, I jolted to look at Leo, who was still immovable. I went to caress his cheek when his body jerked again, and that startled me back. I quickly got out of the bed, giving him comfortable space, and stood patiently, watching Leo give out the same reaction or any other kind of action.

"Leo," I called softly.

His body jumped once again and then began to flutter as if he was having a seizure. I got scared, really scared and worried. I called his name twice, thrice in a row.

"Oh my god!" I clasped my mouth with my hand as tears were pouring down. I rushed to the door to call a doctor, nurse, someone, anyone, or everyone, but before I could get to the door. I heard a low animal grunt behind me, I gulped. The hair on my neck stood at their ends. My palm began sweating. I slowly turned around and saw what I have never imagined in my wildest dream.

~*~

A wolf.

One big werewolf. Larger than life, who looks like fiction standing in the middle of the room.

It was so surreal that it felt like some kind of illusion, but those mystical blue eyes, they were gazing at me, I'd witness them before. I was looking back at this majestic looking creature, as he was not a normal-sized animal. He was immense, muscular, magnificent.

This beautiful beast was huge, occupying most of the space, making the room look small. He held himself with such strong poised, regal enough to fit for a king. His big paws, his claws tucked underneath the fur, I got terrified. Fear was clearly evident on my face, I'm sure.

Deep inside my mind, I knew that was Leo because he was there lying on that bed, and I was with him a minute ago. Though I didn't see the transformation happen, it was still hard to believe.

I took a few steps back until my back hit the door. My breathing got somewhat heavy. I was shaking with nervousness.

"Don't be afraid of me. I would never hurt you." The voice in my head said, and oh my god, I'd to close my eyes, because the peaceful feeling I just felt in my mind was amazing.

Someone spoke inside my head. It can't be an animal, right? I mean he can't talk or did he? In a trice, I remembered a discussion that happened in the woods, that day between me and Leo, the conversation about werewolves and their existence. Now everything started to make sense. My heart thumped hard in my chest. Leo was talking about...

"You must be, Leon," I said. His chest puffed up with pride.

"Is Leo... Y-you?"

"Leo is still in a coma, Aries," Leon spoke. My heartbeat quickened up, when he said my name, his voice was beautiful and deep, but his mouth never moved when he spoke. Could he be the voice inside my head?

"Y-you can't...can talk, but you're a dog...animal...I-I mean wolf?" I mumbled, jumbled with my words—poorly. I hope he didn't get offended. I need to apologize. He laughed, and oh my god, it was hypnotic, his laugh was astonishingly deep and throaty.

"Yes, I can, through a mind link." He sat on his hind legs. His ears were twitching.

I nodded in understanding but still was dumbfounded. It didn't make any sense to me.

"Wait, if Leo is still in a coma, how come you're awake?"

"We've one soul, but different forms of bodies. Our needs are different, too, except when it comes to you."I couldn't help but blush at that.

"Tell me more." I requested, mostly for my sake, that I loved his voice in my head, it felt unusual but lovely.

"We are entirely different from each other. I like raw food. Leo eats cooked. I like to run and swim, whereas he goes to the gym. He's a human, and I'm an animal, even though I've awakened, I'm still weak with Leo in a coma." He explained.

"Oh.." I nodded in understanding. "So all my words fell on deaf ears then?"

"Not entirely," he said. I don't know, but I felt him smirk, though it didn't look on his face.

"You heard then?" I asked him, looking down at my feet, I wiggled my toes, feeling nervous.

"Yes, I did." He answered. I sucked in a long breath, then released slowly. I asked him, "So... D-do you like me...?" There was a hesitation in my voice. Leon stood up from his sitting pose. His eyes focused on my face.

"Do you accept me?" Leon asked me instead.

All along, Leo has been giving out hints, now and then, but I just brushed them away, never caught on. Leon probably would have come out earlier if it weren't for me. I think Leo was preparing me and trying to gain my confidence first. When the time was right, he would have eventually introduced me to Leon, his big revelation. 'Too late, Leo, you just got caught.' I see Leon's eyes filled with worry. He was probably thinking I'm going to reject him. Leon was a remarkably handsome beast; his soft black and white fur made my fingers twitch with the urge to comb through them.

"Can I touch you, Leon?"

He moved forward to get closer—close enough to be touched. Leon lowered his head, and very slowly, I moved my fingers closer to him, until they were in his thick fur, it was one
