Shizdets spoke with unexpectedly confidence. “Alex, this word means ‘being, the hardships of life with its worries and problems’. It’s from the Bible.”
“Cool,” Kate said. “How do you know that, smart guy?”
He shrugged. “I studied at Moscow State University. I was a nerd before… before it all started. While my peers were having fun at parties, I spent my nights in libraries.”
Kate giggled. “It’s okay, we’ll all make up for lost time,” she said, taking Shizdets’ arm.
The clan members laughed and relaxed a little. However, Alex realized it was important that he share his thoughts and set everyone up to work. “Mates, everyone who is now on Earth has received the same ‘Mother’s Diapers’ skill. This is providential, as it greatly simplifies our task. We will be able to transfer skills to others. Our task is to make it more advanced.”
“Where do we start, leader?” Talker asked.
Alex moved away from the transparent wall, pointing to the Zone. “We won’t go there now. We’re not ready yet. But we will stay here, because the energy here is stunning.”
Alex changed his swimming trunks into a strict black jacket. The others did the same. Alex nodded and returned to the wall, placing both hands on the glass. “We will reason. Though we can easily use the Energy Vestment skill, we cannot yet create something more. We need to become adepts of energy magic. I don’t expect many complications. The System itself recognized me as the founder of the magic of energies, so as a Patriarch, I can easily introduce any of you to this magic.
“How do you think it will end? We will create a multi-class battle mage that utilizes the power of ice and energies coupled with good combat training. We must use every effort to make it happen. On this path, I see only one main problem — individual energy supply. Here in the Igloo, each of us is full of Mana, but outside, everything will return to normal values. Therefore, I will take over the energy supply, and you will take over the rest.”
This elicited a bevy of responses.
“How?”
“I don’t understand.”
“We won’t succeed.”
“Commander…”
Alex explained, “Don’t jump to conclusions. Be patient. I can give you the Energy Mage ability. I can also upgrade and transfer to you the updated ‘Mother’s Diaper’ skill, adding a helmet, armor, blade, sword, shield, bow, etc. Each of you will take one thing and improve it. For example, Daga sa Daga will upgrade a blade, Rhombus a sword, Sofia a shield, and so on and so forth. It’s also important to work on related attributes – throwing knives or gloves. Unleash your imagination. Now, is that clear to you?”
The clan members nodded, clearly inspired and ready to start work.
“Let us begin. Discuss, share ideas, but within reason.” Alex sat on the warm floor, chose a comfortable position, and tried to tune out his surroundings. When he had achieved sufficient concentration, he defocused his gaze and called, “Mother’s Diaper Energetic Garment.”
The world around him vanished. Alex saw his aura, a sparkling, transparent, golden corona around his body resembling a jacket. He visualized the daggers, trying to picture every detail. It worked on the first try. Perhaps because he had not been engaged in creation for a long time, sensations of strength and delight overwhelmed him.
It turned out well. He admired the dagger with its narrow leaf-shaped blade, small guard, and elongated handle with a pommel.
Alex recorded the sequences, calling the dagger ‘Daga’ in the hope that it would please his friend.
Next, he created a small shield at the expense of a large amount of Mana.

Alex spent the longest time with the bow. Under the magical vision, the Ghost Archer looked incredibly intricate and complicated in design. The first attempts to modernize it proved unsuccessful. Alex was about to abandon the idea but decided to return to the bow later. After completing the rest of the equipment, he did just that.
He invested a lot of energy and effort to upgrade it. Devastation fell on him, so much that he could barely think. Thankfully, the end results justified the toll. The bow was excellent. Despite its simplification, it looked more harmonious and had greater damage power than before. Alex was surprised that the System itself gave the name to the bow, but he was too weak to worry about it now.
Alex inhaled loudly, feeling every drop of sweat that covered his body and the exhaustion that had seeped into his soul. His people were staring at him in a way that made his heart sink - by their red eyes, he immediately assumed that the ladies had been crying.
“How… how long have I been in this trance?”
Sarah smiled wryly, wiping his face with her hand. “More than a day. Please… don’t do that again.”
“I won’t,” Alex whispered, trying to smile and failing.
He brought the vestment’s final version out for all to see.

Chapter 24. Song and Dance
When Alex woke, he enjoyed the tranquility for a while. That is, until he heard the slight noise of the opening door and Sophia’s cheerful voice. “It’s time to get up, Alex. I see
