businesses in Tampa Bay.”

Bakari looks at me and says, “But I know people that were connected with all the craziness around Tampa and in other states, and I lost friends and good people when things spiraled out of control during the movement.”

“I know that you and your group have helped many people around Tampa Bay, and I saw firsthand how you have helped the Native Americans on their reservation,” says TJ.

“You’ve met with the chief’s son and brother?” asks Bakari to TJ.

“Yes I have, and I’m sad to say that I was there when the military attacked the Native Americans at the casino,” answers TJ.

“I’ve heard people talking about getting the casino up and running again,” says Bakari.

“Part of the military that is still around here has taken it over,” responds TJ.

“We’ll see about that,” says Bakari.

CHAPTER 16

WHAT’S YBOR?

“Anything else you would like to address?” asks Bakari as we all sit and stand in Shaun’s living room.

I answer, “A couple more things actually.”

“What can we help you with?” asks Bakari.

“We have an issue with Channelside, Sal, DK, and Jacob,” I answer.

“What’s the specific issue?” asks Bakari.

“Well, as you can see Brad here was beaten up,” I answer as I point to Brad.

“Who did this to you?” asks Bakari to Brad.

“I don’t know, but they have my wife and I was ordered to kill Ryan for any chance to see my wife again,” answers Brad.

Bakari looks at me.

“Yeah, I can’t believe it either,” I say.

“I couldn’t do it and now I don’t know what to do,” says Brad.

“You live in Channelside?” asks Bakari to Brad.

“Yeah, I live in the West Tower,” answers Brad.

“I have several friends and former teammates that live there,” says Bakari.

“Can you help Brad get his wife back?” asks Phil to Bakari.

“I’ll have to look into it, but possibly,” answers Bakari.

“Would your people in Channelside be able to get to Brad’s wife?” I ask Bakari.

“What’s your wife’s name Brad?” asks Bakari.

“Ola, and she’s most likely in the East Tower in one of Sal’s condos,” answers Brad.

“I’ll check with my people and see what they can find out,” says Bakari.

“Thank you,” I say to Bakari.

“When though?” asks Brad with an impatient tone.

“I’ll see if we can get in touch with them when we get home, and I’ll let you know as soon as possible,” answers Bakari.

I sense that Brad doesn’t like that he’ll have to wait, but I also understand that he is eager to get his wife back and is tired of waiting already.

“Thank you Bakari, but I have one more topic to discuss and it’s about a meeting with DK at World of Trade,” I say.

“What meeting?” asks Jon.

“DK wants to meet with me at World of Trade in three days,” I answer Jon.

“What do you need from us?” asks Bakari.

“Backup, I need you to watch over us and possibly put another tracker on his vehicle,” I answer Bakari.

“Are we doing anything in three days?” asks Bakari to Ayo.

“I think we are going to Tampa Farms tomorrow and we’re meeting with Mr. Charlie in two days, but nothing three days from today,” answers Ayo as he looks at a device on his wrist.

“I think we’ll be able to help with your meeting,” says Bakari to me.

“I would appreciate it as I don’t trust DK, and I’m not sure what he may do at that meeting,” I reply to Bakari.

“You should be okay. We’ll be there, and World of Trade is very safe. Abdul and Amir run a tight ship at World of Trade and security is very important to them,” says Bakari.

Bakari gets a call over his satellite phone and Cyrus answers the phone call.

“I’m thinking about stopping over to the Haven before we head home, William is their leader?” asks Bakari to me.

“Yeah, tell the guards that Ryan sent you,” I answer Bakari.

“They were able to get the full shipment from the supplier,” says Cyrus to Bakari.

Bakari smiles at the news from Cyrus and says, “We must be going now, but Ryan please come to our vehicle.”

Bakari walks over to TJ, who is standing near Shaun’s front door, and says, “I’m glad you found out who we really are, and more importantly who we aren’t.”

“Me too and again I apologize for how I behaved before,” replies TJ to Bakari.

“Apology accepted and I’m glad to have you on our side. But where is your dog?” says Bakari to TJ.

“Odin is back home on the Reservation and he’s looking after my sister and Janet,” answers TJ.

Bakari and the Ghosts exit Shaun’s house and I walk over to their all-black SUV.

Saba opens the back hatch of their SUV and grabs something.

“I was able to finish it last night and I hope it fits,” says Saba to me as Saba hands me an all-black wrist sleeve that has a black sheath in the middle of it.

I look down at what Saba gave me and see that it’s my wrist gauntlet and it’s pretty awesome.

I slide the all-black wrist gauntlet onto my right wrist, forearm, and hand.

“Yet another cool toy for Ryan,” jokes Matt to Phil and Jon as they look out Shaun’s living room window.

“If you extend your wrist…” says Saba and just as he finishes his statement I move my right wrist down towards the street and a hidden knife comes out from its sheath.

I look down at the knife and Saba says, “The knife needs sharpening, but the mechanics are working good on the gauntlet.”

I bring my right wrist back to neutral and the knife goes back into its sheath.

I thank Saba for the awesome wrist gauntlet and
