“I’ll give them a call,” says Phil.
“What happened to your walkie-talkie you got from DK?” asks Matt.
“I put it in the Armory,” I answer Matt.
“Why?” asks Matt.
“Because it has a bomb in it,” I answer Matt.
“Are you serious?” asks Matt.
“Yeah, Saba found it the other day when Phil, Jon, and I met with him,” I answer.
Phil walks back into Bobby G’s living room and says, “They’ll be here tomorrow.”
“Who?” asks Matt.
“Bakari and the Ghosts,” answers Phil.
“Are they bringing my mask and my wrist gauntlet with them?” I ask Phil.
“I didn’t ask about those things, but I’m sure they will,” answers Phil.
“I know Saba was working on your mask when we left his lab the other day,” says Jon.
“I hope he was able to fix a couple things with the mask display and also paint a design on the face,” I say.
“I wish I had one of those masks,” says Matt.
“Me too,” says Phil.
Matt looks at me and says, “You know, Jon has a shield, you have a mask, and what do Phil and I have?”
“What do you want a hammer that shoots lightning out of it?” I joke.
“He’d probably electrocute himself,” jokes Phil.
“A plasma saber sword would be pretty useful,” says Matt.
“This isn’t Space Wars,” jokes Jon.
“You know Mike has one of those robots from Space Wars?” says Matt.
“Does it work?” asks Jon.
“I don’t think so, I think it’s just a prototype right now,” answers Matt.
“Now that would be pretty cool to have in a ZA. A freaking robot that could decapitate zombies with ease,” says Matt.
“Shame this isn’t a science fiction movie,” says Phil with a sarcastic tone.
“What time did they say they would be coming by tomorrow?” I ask Phil.
“He didn’t say,” answers Phil.
“You should call TJ also, I think he wants to talk with Bakari,” I say to Phil.
“Anyone else?” jokes Phil.
Phil gets back up off the sofa and tries to reach TJ over his radio.
“I wonder how Shaun is doing?” asks Jon.
“Pretty good, he actually slimmed down a little bit,” I answer Jon.
“How was your trip with William? What happened?” asks Jon.
“It was okay, Shaun, Phil, and I were with William and we found Jeremy and some wounded Haven Warriors,” I answer Jon.
“What happened to Jeremy?” asks Matt.
“He had a couple cuts, but I patched him up and he’ll be okay,” I answer Matt.
“Now, before I sit down again, is there anyone else you want me to call?” asks Phil.
“No, I think we are good,” I answer Phil.
“What about Shaun? Is he ever going to come back here?” asks Matt.
“You mean when Lisa says it’s okay for him to come back,” jokes Phil.
“I doubt that’s going to happen, she didn’t even acknowledge us at the Haven,” I say.
“Any word on TJ?” asks Jon.
“He’ll be here tomorrow and he’s glad I called him. He said he has some news about a reset or something,” answers Phil.
“Man, we have a full boat tomorrow,” I say.
“What boat? We are going on a boat?” jokes Matt.
“You know what I mean,” I say with a smile on my face.
“But what are we going to do with Dalton and Dean? I don’t trust them two,” says Jon.
“Me either,” says Matt.
“What can we do with them?” I ask.
Phil answers, “Let’s just keep an eye on them and see what they are all about, but I don’t trust them either.”
My meeting with Jon, Matt, and Phil ends and we all exit from Bobby G’s house.
“You think you can have another training session soon?” asks Matt.
“Yeah, we’ll have another class pretty soon,” I answer Matt.
“TJ should be here around noon tomorrow, so I’ll come by around then,” says Phil.
“Okay, I’ll either be at my house or my dad’s,” I reply to Phil.
I say goodbye to the guys and go into my house for the night.
“I understand that Brad, and if you want to leave and go back to Channelside I can’t stop you,” I say to Brad as I talk with him inside Bobby G’s house the next morning.
Brad looks at me and I think he was thinking I would try to stop him from leaving.
“I just don’t know how you think it’s a good idea to go back to the same place where you were attacked though,” I say to Brad as I stand with him in Bobby G’s living room.
Brad sits down on Bobby G’s sofa and thinks about what I just said.
I feel bad for Brad as he sits on Bobby G’s sofa for he looks defeated.
“But what am I supposed to do? They have my wife and who knows if they hurt Eric and his wife,” says Brad.
“What can you tell me about Sal and Jacob?” I ask Brad as I sit on the recliner chair that is next to the sofa that Brad is sitting on.
“What do you want to know?” asks Brad.
“Whatever you know?” I answer Brad.
“I don’t know much as I only met with Jacob twice and Sal has been keeping to his goons and Carmine,” answers Brad.
“How many people does Sal have?” I ask Brad.
Brad thinks about my question and asks, “Like at Channelside?”
“Sure, and in his group,” I answer.
Brad thinks about Channelside and says, “I think we only have about fifty people left in Channelside now and I’m not sure how many people Sal has.”
“Does he have five people? Ten people? Just a rough estimate is fine,” I reply to Brad.
“I guess he has about fifteen people around him,” answers Brad.
“Does Jacob or DK live in Channelside?” I ask Brad.
