Saba says, “I put a safety switch on the gauntlet, so you don’t accidently bring the knife out when you don’t want to.”

Saba shows me the safety switch and clicks it on.

“I’ll be in touch with you or Phil tonight about Ola, but it sounds like Sal has Channelside locked down and she could be tough to get to,” says Bakari to me.

“I know, and I’m not expecting it to be easy, but any information and help with Ola would be appreciated,” I reply to Bakari.

“I’ll be in touch,” says Bakari and then Bakari gets into his all-black SUV and Cyrus exits Citrus Oaks.

TJ, Phil, Jon, and Matt exit Shaun’s house and Jon sees the wrist gauntlet on my right wrist and says, “Oh man, you got it.”

“Yeah, it’s pretty sweet,” I reply to Jon.

“I forgot to tell you guys about the military doing a reset in a couple cities,” says TJ.

“A reset?” I ask.

“It’s, from what I understand, an order carried out by the military to bomb a city and kill everything that is dead or alive,” answers TJ.

“Where did the military reset?” asks Phil.

“The latest locations were several cities in Georgia, Illinois, and the Pacific Northwest,” answers TJ.

“Do you know if North Carolina and mainly Raleigh was bombed?” asks Phil.

“I don’t know, I haven’t heard anything about North or South Carolina,” answers TJ.

“Have any cities in Florida been reset?” I ask TJ.

“I’m not sure about that either, but let’s hope they leave Tampa alone,” answers TJ.

“What makes the military reset a city?” asks Matt.

TJ looks at Matt and answers, “I guess when they feel that the city has nothing left to offer or has been overrun by the dead.”

“Do you think they will reset Tampa?” asks Jon.

“Would we get a warning, before it’s bombed?” asks Matt.

TJ answers, “I don’t know the answers to those questions, but I’m thinking about going to MacDill and seeing if I can get some.”

“You sure that’s a good idea?” I ask TJ.

“Probably not, but the Reservation is safe, and Janet and Alice are well protected there, plus I need to know if my father is still alive,” answers TJ.

I see Brad standing inside Shaun’s house and looking at us through the living room window.

“It’s good to see you again TJ, and I’m glad you were able to calm everything down with Bakari,” says Phil to TJ.

“Me too, Bakari and his group are pretty special around here. They are connected with a lot of different people and they really are helping things around Tampa Bay,” replies TJ.

“You need me to come with you to meet DK at World of Trade?” asks TJ to me.

“We only have four level 2 passes though,” I answer TJ.

“Are you all going to the meeting?” asks TJ to me and the guys.

“I know I’m going,” answers Phil.

“I have to meet with him, so I’m going,” I answer.

Jon and Matt don’t answer.

“What about you two?” asks TJ to Matt and Jon.

“I’ll sit this one out,” answers Matt.

“I wouldn’t mind going back to World of Trade,” answers Jon.

“Can I use your pass Matt?” asks TJ.

“Yeah, you can use mine for the meeting,” answers Matt.

“Well, that settles it. Everyone, but Matt, will go to the meeting,” I say.

“What about him?” asks Phil as he sees Brad looking at us through the window from inside Shaun’s living room.

“What are we going to do about Brad and Channelside?” asks Phil.

“I thought we are going to wait on what Bakari finds out?” asks Matt.

“We are, but what’s the play here? How do we get Brad to Ola in a safe way?” I ask.

“What if you get this Sal guy and his people out of Channelside and then you have Bakari’s people inside Channelside go get Ola?” asks TJ.

“That could work,” answers Phil.

“How do we get Sal out of Channelside though?” asks Jon.

I think about how we can get Sal out of Channelside and it occurs to me that we should consult with Brad.

“Brad! Come out here!” I shout to Brad who is still inside Shaun’s house near Shaun’s living room window.

Brad exits Shaun’s house and comes over to us.

“What can you tell us about Sal and his goons?” I ask Brad.

“What do you want to know?” asks Brad.

“Everything,” answers Phil.

We go into Shaun’s garage and Brad tells us about Sal and what’s going on at Channelside.

“Sal’s goons are really all over Channelside now, they patrol the streets, buildings, and pretty much have Channelside locked down,” says Brad.

“Is the only way into Channelside by boat still?” asks Phil.

“No, they opened up a way to drive in and out, but you can still come by the marina and docks,” answers Brad.

“Does Sal and his goons ever leave Channelside?” asks TJ.

“Yeah, they leave a lot actually,” answers Brad.

“Where do they go?” I ask.

“I’m not really sure, but I know I overheard them talking about going to Ybor more and more lately,” answers Brad.

“What’s Ybor?” asks Jon.

“It’s a part of downtown Tampa, and it’s where a lot of restaurants, bars, clubs, and shops are,” answers Brad.

I look at Matt and say, “It’s where I took you and Shaun that one time for spring break and the security guards, or someone, pepper sprayed everyone.”

Matt smiles and replies, “That was a crazy trip. We did a lot that trip. Orlando Studios, bars, clubs, and Ybor, man that was a good time,” replies Matt.

“So is Sal going there for a drink or what?” asks Phil.

“I don’t know, but I heard him bitching about the zombies taking it over and how the Colombians took over Ybor before the zombies did,” answers Brad.

“I think that’s our chance,” says TJ.
