Still chuckling he says. “I am. I was just checking to see what was taking you so long. Now I know.”
“Oh god, please don’t tell everyone you saw that,” I say in a low voice, but I can’t help but smile.
He doesn’t answer me but walks away chuckling. I follow him trying to get over the embarrassment.
We take his truck. He reluctantly brought it over since he knew that I wanted to get out of the house but would never put me on the back of his bike since Colton would probably beat the crap out of him. I don’t pretend to understand the laws of the club life, but I’m glad that no one hesitates to answer a question when I ask.
I really want to get this biker woman thing down because I wouldn’t want to do anything to upset Colton or my new family. So far, everyone has explained what was expected of an Old Lady and that was enough for now.
We head out to pick up Stacey and Krista. The others said that they would meet up with us later, but they were busy with their kids for the time being. I told them that they didn’t have to come out shopping with me if they needed to be with their family, buy they laughed and said that they would love to drop off the little ones with their dads while we shopped.
I could hear Shield let out a curse when we walked into a women’s lingerie shop.
He followed us into the shop, but I could see his face turn red underneath his beard.
It got worse when Stacey saw his obvious discomfort. “Come on, daddy… you said you would buy all your girls nighties,” she says with a seductive purr.
I choke on a laugh because Shield’s eyes widen, and he turns even more red. I could have sworn he wanted to run out of there faster than anything, but he was loyal and stayed put even with every woman there looking at him in a different light.
I grab several items. I know my sizes, but I also love buying new bras and underwear.
I had to leave several of my favorite pieces when I ran, but I could see some stuff here that Trigger might appreciate.
When my eyes catch a nice red and black bra with a matching panty set, I know automatically that it will look amazing on me, so I make sure to grab it in my size.
When I turn around to see where Stacey and Krista are, I can hear them talking through the changing room doors.
Shield stays a safe distance away but makes sure to be close enough if anything happened.
“What about this one D-” Stacey starts but is cut off.
“Woman, if you call my brother “daddy” one more time, I will throw you over my knee in front of everyone here,” a deep voice growls, and I turn to see Torch walking towards her change room door. I hear her laugh, and then she opens the door to a scowling Torch. She’s grinning widely.
She looks at Shield with fake innocence and bites her lip. “Do I have to call him daddy too?”
I can’t help but let out a loud laugh. This girl is too much. You can tell that she loves riling up the brothers.
I try on my items while Torch decides that he needs to “help” Stacey pick out some items.
I just shake my head and wonder what Colton will be like when I get home today.
After we get a text from Ella and Olivia that they are on their way, we decide to wait around after I purchase my items and Shield brings out the bags to the car.
Torch says “bye” to Stacey as soon as Shield is back, when he learns that Ella is coming here.
He throws his hands in the air and backs away from us with wide eyes. “I can’t be here when those two show up. Ella is my sister. I don’t need to see what she wears under her clothes, and Olivia might as well be my sister,” he says with a shudder of disgust.
Since he’s walking backwards, he doesn’t see Ella and Olivia walk through the door. They are both standing behind him with grins on their faces.
“Come on dear brother, you don’t want to see the sexy, royal blue panty and garter set with a matching corset that I wanted to get?” Ella asks with a fake frown.
“You know, Aiden would really love it if I bought more crotchless panties. He just seems to not get enough of them when I’m wearing skirts,” Olivia says with a matching frown and they both look at each other thoughtfully.
Torch gags as he runs out the store screaming with his hands over his ears.
My hand is over my mouth and my shoulders are shaking. I have tears running down my cheeks from holding in my laughter.
Once Torch is gone with the door closed behind him, everyone bursts out in laughter.
“You guys are evil,” I say once my laughter has died down.
They both shrug their shoulders. “He knew not to come by when we were shopping, no matter how much Stacey loves picking on the brother that is brought along.”
This time I stand off to the side with Shield while they shop since I have already paid for everything. You can see that even though he looks relaxed, he is anything but.
His eyes are scanning over the door, the people who come and go, and the back where it leads to the dressing rooms. Not once is he letting anyone out of sight unless they are changing.
I can see why he is good at his job. He takes it very seriously.
My phone rings. When I
