“I’m in bed?” I raised my brow and watched him smile. His heart shaped lips looked swollen and I ran my fingers across them. He kissed my thumb softly and shook his head.
“Take off your clothes and get into bed.” My heart thudded and I watched as he stood and walked towards his walk in. I did as he asked. I was naked again only this time I felt vulnerable. I climbed into his bed and watched him walk towards where I was laying. He was topless. His muscles had muscles. He had that really fucking sexy 'v' that all fit men had that nobody knew the real name of. I found my eyes wandering across his body. “What?” He seemed like he was confused. I smiled to myself and shook my head.
“Nothing I just like looking at you.” He chuckled softly and got into bed with me.
“That’s nice to know.” He smiled and turned towards me. He looked through me and I smiled softly. “I could get used to this.” He whispered.
“What?”
“You here.” I blushed and shook my head.
“You can’t get used to it though can you?” I watched his eyes lower and he kissed me slowly.
“No I can’t.” He glanced at the door and took a deep breath. “Call me nuts but,” He rose from the bed and made his way towards his door “people just walk in here and I’d like you to spend the night with me?” I almost screamed. I nodded and sat up slightly as he locked the door. I heard the click of the latch and smirked. “Do you mind spending the night in here?” I shook my head. I didn’t mind being next to him all night at all. Not one bit.
We lay in silence for a little while. I ran my fingers across his chest and smiled to myself. His presence was comforting. He looked towards me and stifled a laugh.
“What?” I muttered and he shrugged.
“Tickles a little,” He stopped my hand from trailing his chest and I smiled “do you wanna see the rest of the house?” What? There’s more? I nodded at him and watched as he stood up and made his way towards his wardrobe. He threw a white t-shirt my way and I laughed.
“No knickers?” I sat up in his bed and his eyes danced.
“I don’t keep them, I'm sorry.” His eyes darkened as I laughed. He’d got mine in his fucking pocket. I stood from the bed and pulled his t-shirt over my head. He watched my everymove. He unlocked the door and laughed as I cursed at him before we left his room.
He walked me down the hallway, he pointed out Chloe’s room, Jay’s room, Alfie’s room and a study. I smiled up at him. Of course Jay’s room was next to his. I placed my head against his arm at the top of the stairs.
“There’s so much wood in this house.” I laughed to myself and he nodded.
“Alfie designed it. It was supposed to be his bachelor pad.” He grinned at me as he shrugged. “We came back and moved in.” I pushed my arm into his chest softly and chuckled.
“Hmm, he’s too nice to say no hey?” He laughed quietly and pulled on my hand. We jogged down the stairs and he pointed towards a tiny door that looked well hidden.
“That’s where the pool is,” he began to speak but I stopped.
“Hang on back up, there's a pool in the house?” He seemed to find my reaction amusing and he nodded.
“Yeah it’s indoor/outdoor. It’s great in the summer, c’mon I’ll show you.” He opened the door and pulled me down the basement level. I rolled my eyes. These people had more money than sense, but why? The pool room was stunning. There were windows surrounding it, it didn’t look like a basement level at all. He pointed towards the windows which were now covered in tiny water droplets from the rain outside. “They open and then outside there’s like another level of the garden.” He seemed so relaxed tonight and I smiled up at him. He looked under his lashes at me and my heart stopped. “What’s wrong?” I shook my head. There was nothing wrong. Everything was right. I looked towards the pool to my right and smiled to myself. It was so clean. He placed his hand on my cheek and I nestled into it. “We should probably go back up?” He looked at his watch on his wrist and I nodded.
“What time is it?”
“11?” I caught my yawn and felt my weight being lifted off my feet. He grinned as he picked me up and carried me up the two flights of stairs back towards his room. He placed me on his bed gently and kissed my head. The front door opened and slammed shut. My eyes widened as he smirked at me. “Don’t worry. I’ll sort it.” He left the room and I placed my ear against it.
"You need to make that drop tonight!" Bellowed Jay.
"Woah woah woah, calm down what's going on?" Haz’s tone was calm.
"It's a mess Harry Vens! That's what's the matter!" I could almost sense the tension between them from here. What’s a drop? "Why are you here anyway? Why did Avaya disappear?" He finished his rampage of questions and my heart began to race. Shit he knows I’m here doesn’t he?
"I told you I was coming back to get some gear for later, Avaya didn't disappear, she went home." The way the lies flew off his tongue was worrying. I would never have sensed he was lying.
"I don't think she's gone home somehow." Jay’s voice was low and I gripped my hand into a small fist.
"Well she's not here is she!?" Haz’s voice raised an octave. I had an uneasy feeling in my chest and I placed my hand against it.
"Tomorrow. We have serious work to do." There was an awkward silence between the two of them.
"Why did you keep Av
